I ink blended my stencil layers and stamped the various polka dots, lines etc in complementary colors. I love the way it turned out.

I stamped my Shine Bright sentiment and aded my favourite iridescent gems and a pink candy heart. This card is going to a very special young lady for her 19th birthday and I am super happy with it.

I love making dog cards, one of my favourites so I absolutely wanted to use this Waggingly Happy stamp set by Penny Black. I started by placing my stamps and the die I wanted to use to ensure proper placement and stamped my dog. I coloured her in with COPIC markers and then ink blended my Salvaged Patina Distress Ink in the background.

I put my panel into my Misti and lined up my sentiment and stamped it. I then picked some Honey Bee paper and die cut my Waffle Flower Friend die and glued it to the panel. To finish off, some pink candy hearts.

Simon Says: Shimmer and Shine!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Shimmer and Shine and we are featuring Paper Rose products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I knew I wanted to use this woodgrain paper for my background by Paper Rose, I just love the colour and the fun texture it adds to my card. I decided to pair it with my new Simon Says Stamp Layered Dandy Flower and Windswept Leaves dies.

I cut my panel to A2 size and set it aside to die cut my flowers from Neena Solar White card stock and ink blended some light grey on the flower, pink and yellow on both centres and glued them together.

I die cut my leaves from teal coloured card stocks, I have seen this colour used a lot with leaves lately and I love the contrast. I added the flowers and leaves to the panel using both for tape and glue. I then die cut the Miss You die (one of my favourites by Simon Says Stamp) with a mix of white glitter card stock and gold card stock (both shimmer and shine).

To finish off, some of my favourite Pink Fresh Iridescent Clear Drops.

Always so much fun playing with Alcohol Inks, I always wonder why I don't play with them more.  My favourites are the Tim Holtz Alcohol Pearl Inks, I love the shimmer they offer.

I started by inking and blending my panel with rainbow pearl alcohol inks and set it aside to dry.  I die cut my floral panel and the Happy Birthday dies.

Once my panel was dry, I glued the black panel to the background and some gold Tonic drops. Once that was dry, I added my sentiment using foam tape!

Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Waffle Flower!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring super fun Waffle Flower products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

This card was such fun to make! When I saw that the theme was anything goes, I just had to use these super fun dog themed products by Waffle Crafts.  We have three dogs of our own and every family birthday I make one from the pups as well.

This one was super quick to make, I die cut my bone and bow shapes and ink blended the sides of the bone for dimension.  I put together the Simon Says Stamp bow die and added it to the bone using foam tape.

I embossed my background panel and added the bone to the top. I stamped and embossed my sentiment and fussy cut the shape then added it to my card.  To finish off, a small red candy heart!

Simon Says Stamp - Out of this World Release Blog Hop Day 2

Happy Saturday crafty friends! It's Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Out of This World blog hop!  Super excited to be participating, this is an amazing release!

Complete hope order listed below, hop along and you have the chance win a $25 at each stop on the hop when you leave a comment!

I love a good rainbow and decided to try the amazing scalloped stencils with this amazing new Billow Butterfly Plate for this one. I ink blended first then die cut my panel and put a few of the butterflies to the side.

I added some black Distress Paint to the panel and set is aside to dry.  I decided to 3D emboss my loose butterflies using the new folder from the June card kit. I love the way they turned out and added some gold Foundry wax to the butterflies.

I cut a piece of Tonic Sugar Crystal card stock and glued my panel to it. I then added my butterflies using 3D foam circles.  I die cut my Simply Fabulous dies and added them to the panel. I finished off by adding some iridescent gems to the top.

For this card I used the beautiful new Dahlia Delights 3D embossing folder with some Peony coloured card stock. Once embossed I added some gold pigment ink directly to the panel and loose flowers.  I also added some more ink by blending a darker Raspberry color to the panel and flowers.

I glued the loose dahlias to the panel with foam tape. I die cut my You Shine (one of my favorite Simon Says Stamp dies) and added it over the loose Dahlias. To finish off, some matte gold pearls!

Thanks so much for taking the time and hoping along! Products used are listed and linked below, affiliate links used at no extra cost to you!

This week Simon Says: Vacation and we are featuring super fun My Favorite Things products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I had such fun colouring this older MFT image for my vacation theme. I chose this one because I plan on sitting by the pool with my dogs for a month this summer, I can't wait!

I started by colouring my image and die cutting it and my glasses and setting them aside to work on my panel.  I used the large polka dot stencil by Simon Says Stamp for my panel with some light pink ink.

I then die cut my Hello sentiment by MFT using some Simon Says Stamp magenta glitter card stock.  Lined everything up and glued everything to the panel. I stamped my secondary sentiment and to finish off some Iridescent Pink Fresh Studio gems.
