Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Hero Arts with a tribute to Sidnie!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always amazing Hero Arts products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!   Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!      

This week we are remembering our fellow teamie Sidnie Knight-Desjardins who lost her hard fought battle with Cancer earlier this month. Our hearts are broken for her husband and four beautiful daughters whom she loved so much. This is a sending hugs card to her family (who she loved fiercely) and if you followed Sidnie, you know she loved a blended background and that is what I decided on to honour her memory! May she rest and may we hold her memory close to our hearts.

All products used are Hero Arts, I started by stamping and embossing my cling stamp and ink blending the background. I then decided on this hugs die and die cut it using black glitter paper.

I then stamped a Simon Says Stamp "sending" stamp on the top of the hugs.

To finish off, some red candy hearts one for each of her beloved family members.

Simon Says: Tag It!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

These were fun to make, I love Mica Sprays and decided to start my holiday tag collection with the theme this week. I sprayed my tags with mica spray and set them aside to dry. 

I die cut my elements all by Tim Holtz and glued them to the tags once they were dry.

I felt I needed an anchor for the bottom so I cut some of my plaid 6x6 patterned paper and glued them to the bottoms of both tags. To finish off, some Pink Fresh Drops in red to act as berries.

Simon Says: Add A Sentiment

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

I haven't made a background using Distress Inks in such a long time! I forgot how much fun it is and using Lawn Fawn Critters :).  I started by stamping and collaring my images using COPIC markers and used the accompanying dies.

I then die cut my Hammock and Trees and set everything aside. I ink blended my panel and added some bronze coloured paint splats and some white paint to the "sand"

I put all of my elements together using a mix of glue and foam tape. To finish off, some white gel pen detail.

Back to school freaks me out this early, lol! We start the school year in Quebec around labor day so this week brought me back to quick reality with this theme, ha!  I love a CAS card! I absolutely wanted to use these beautiful leaf dies on my card so I paired them with a back to school stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.

I really wanted the leaves to be the star so I die cut them from my favourite fall leaf colours. I stamped my sentiments then added the leaves with a mix of glue and foam tape. To finish off, some Pink Fresh gems!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

I do love foiling, this card actually came together very quickly. I foiled my background and my sentiment. I used the accompanying die cut for the sentiment and set everything aside.

I die cut my foliage die with card stock from my stash and cut the stems shorter, glued them together in rainbow order.

Added the foliage to the panel using foam tape and glued my sentiment with a mix of glue and foam tape. To finish off, my favourite Pretty Pink Posh Sequins!

Simon Says Stamp: Cheering For You Release Blog Hop!

 Happy Friday crafty friends! It's time for the 1st day of the Simon Says Stamp Cheering For You release blog hops!

Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop from your blog comments. They will choose winners and post on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday the 31^st of July!

I used the super sweet Delicate Hummingbird Duo dies for my tag (it is the sweetest bird die) and paired him with the Lily Duo Dies from the last release.  I ink blended my bird in the same colours that I chose for the Lilies.

I die cut my Simon Says Stamp tag die and 3D embossed it, I glued my lilies and cut the excess card stock. I then added my bird. 

I added a simple sentiment from an older Simon Says Stamp, stamp set and added it with foam tape. To finish off, iridescent gems!

Simon Says: Beautiful Blooms

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Beautiful Blooms and we are using always beautiful Altenew products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!   Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!      

Such a fantastic set of products by Altenew! This was quick and turned out so well, I just find this set beautiful! The layering stencils make this effortless and produces beautiful results.  I went with non-traditional floral colours for my blooms. I used all Pawsitively Saturated Inks by Simon Says Stamp for my blending (all listed below).

I die cut my floral image and die cut my backing panel with an older MFT die from my stash. I choose the Blue Violet card stock to try and match my flower centre for the bottom of my panel.

I gold embossed my sentiment and added all of my elements to the panel cutting the excess from my floral image. To finish off some Lilac Clear drops!
