Lawn Fawn Thanksgiving!

Good morning! Kim from the Lawnscaping FIT team this morning sharing a fun and easy Thanksgiving project. It was Thanksgiving in Canada this past weekend and I always make nameplates for everyone as my husband and I collectively have a large family, this makes everything so much easier! My project would also work for the current Lawnscaping Challenge - Sentiments , which is open until tomorrow so you still have time to submit!

I die cut Kraft 4x4 squares and folded them in half, die cut the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Leaves also from Kraft. I used various colours of Distress Inks to colour the leaves. I then used Milo's ABCs for the "give" and the names on the black tags, I used the Scripty Thanks die and cut from black and orange cardstock and I used Gathered Twigs Distress on the orange and glued them offset so the black would allow for a shadow.  Once everything was glued I felt the Holiday Party Animal Pilgrim Hat would be a cute topper to the "h" in the thanks. I used older Lawn Trimmings in the Orange and Brown to attach the nametag!  Don't forget you still have time to submit to the current challenge sentiments the lucky winner of this challenge will receive a $25.00 gift card from the fabulous Ellen Hutson on-line store!

Mama Elephant's 3 Birthday!

Mama Elephant is one of my favourite stamp companies and it's their 3rd Birthday! In honour of this, the Mama Elephant Flickr Challenge this month is... yes, a birthday theme! I love the Freestyle Florals and I can never have enough Birthday themed cards so I opted to use that stamp set.

I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Pens (my new obsession) on the Freestyle Florals. The sentiment is from Woodland Gifts.  A Lifestyle Crafts embossing folder and the Stitched Oval and Rectangle are Lawn Fawn.  Finished it off with PPP sequins.

Thanks so much for taking the time!

Lawnscaping Challenge #115 - Sentiments!

Happy Monday! How many of you enjoyed World Cardmaking Day over the weekend?! I sure took advantage, great way to justify sneaking away and just playing!

Welcome to a new week and a new Lawnscaping Challenge - Sentiments! I love the Lawn Fawn scripty sentiment dies, so I decided to feature my new Congrats die and the Baaah Humbug set!

To colour the "ewe" or sheep and bow I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Pens, I am obsessed with them! I cut the rectangle and ovals from the Lawn Fawn Stitched collections. Die cut the Congrats three times, black, lavender and white then glued slightly offset. I blended SSS Maliblue in the background I then stamped the "ewe" sentiment and glued everything together - background plaid from MFT.

The lucky winner of this challenge will receive a $25.00 gift card from the fabulous Ellen Hutson on-line store!

WPlus9 #tbt

This is the first time I submit to a WPlus9 Challenge. It is a company that I fell in love with last year, so I am hoping this "older" stamp set qualifies for a Throwback Thursday Challenge in which they are featuring the Pretty Patches and Country Charm sets that I do not have in my stash but I have Winter Pals from last year that I simply love! I chose to mimic the "sketch" of the 3rd card made by Maureen Merrit over at the WPlus9 Challenge.

I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers for the Fox and Trees both from the Winter Pals set, I love those markers!  For the Zig Markers I used Stratford Bristol Paper as recommended by Nichol Magouirk, love the blending it offers. I used Distress Inks to make my fall background and the Pattern Paper for the rectangle piece is from MFT.

Thanks so much for taking the time! I love comments, they make my day feel free to leave one!
