Lawn Fawnatics Challenge # 11- Cards for Kids

Happy Monday! The giant kid in me had such fun making this tri-fold card for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge  - Card for Kids.

I started with a piece of Bristol card stock cut to 12 x 5.5 (eventually scored at 4 inches on both sides). I white embossed my constellations from the Upon a Star stamp set and die cut a round mask for my moon. I then used Mustard Seed (moon shadow) Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Inks for the background sky and sprayed it with my Distress Sprayer for added texture.
I used my Distress Marker in Hickory Smoke with a water brush to define the moon.

I stamped all of my images from Lawn Fawn's Costume Party, Booyah, Happy Haunting, Spooktacular and Trick or Treat on Neena Solar White card stock and colored them with my Copic Sketch markers.

I used the coordinating dies for the images and also die cut my grass with the Grassy Border and Meadow Borders dies and my spider from the Cute Cobweb dies.

I put my card together and waited to emboss my sentiment once I knew my spacing with all these images. I added some white and gold dots to further define the sky and then my shimmer pen on the moon and the spider.

Go check the challenge! It is such fun to participate in this one and there is lots of inspiration:)
Thanks for taking the time!

Baby gift tag with Lawn Fawn

Happy Thursday crafty friends! I begin my month of summer vacation at noon today and I am over the moon excited!  I will be away for 10-days which means limited posts from me here :( but I will be at the beach! :)

This is a special baby boy gift tag for my aesthetician who is actually being induced today!

I used all Lawn Fawn products for this tag with the exception of the cloud stencil for the background by MFT and the Fuse tool in-case she wanted to keep the tag as a keepsake.  I Copic colored my images and used some Distress inks on my blades of grass and for my clouds.

I can't wait to hear from her when the baby comes!

Thanks for taking the time!

Little prince on the way...

Happy Hump Day! It is mid-day, mid week, things are looking up to the weekend! Quick project featuring Winnie and Walter today!

One of my friends is expecting and she found out last week she is having a boy!

The main image is from the new Winnie and Walter Big Hugs stamp set which I picked up at Butterfly Reflections Ink. I am in love with the fun critters in that set and felt that the elephant with the little monkey was perfect for a baby card :)  I stamped my image with Old Paper Distress Ink on Tim Holtz Watercolor card stock for some no-line watercoloring.  I then used Hickory Smoke, Pumice Stone and Frayed Burlap Distress inks for the bulk of the image and some Picked Raspberry for the cheeks and ears.  I don't know about you, but I have invested so much in watercolor paints and mediums but for some reason I keep going back to Distress Inks!

I die cut my pattern paper card stock from the Mama Elephant Madison Avenue large frame. The background paper is from the New Lawn Fawn Watercolour 6x6 pack and the gingham I have had in my stash for a long time (not sure about the manufacturer). I then die cut some Lawn Fawn Stitched Clouds and also used their Grassy Border dies.  The sentiment is also from an older Lawn Fawn set - Hello Baby as is the crown on the monkey.

I put all the elements together and used a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins to top off my project.

Thanks for taking the time!
