I love playing with foil, specifically gold foil and I love getting a chance to use products I have yet to use like my background foil plate by Birch Press. I started by heating my Glimmer machine and foiling both my panel and sentiment and set them aside once I die cut my sentiment by Spellbinder.

I die cut my Simon Says Stamp Etched Layered Daisy from pink card stock added some ink blending and put it together with foam tape. I added my elements to my panel and finished off adding some Watermelon sequins.

Simon Says: Add A Sentiment

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Add a Sentiment and we are featuring super fun CZ Design products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I had so much fun making this card! Firstly, this Toucan is one of my favourite Simon Says Stamp dies and I had never used felt for him, so much fun. He was absolutely my starting point with the fun Yay You wafer dies by CZ Design.

After I finished putting my toucan together, I decided to use this new to me stamp, die and stencil set to add a rainbow leaf cluster to my card which, matched my little toucan super well.

I die cut my leaf and used the accompanying stencil with a rainbow blend. I then gold embossed the centre of the leaf die and set it aside.

I decided to 3D emboss my panel to offer some more texture and then added my elements to the card panel using glue and foam tape.  I then die cut and added my CZ Design Yay You sentiment to the bottom of my card.

To finish off, my favorite gems from Pink Fresh and a little white gel pen to my toucan's eye!

I just find these Pink Fresh foil and stencil sets just amazing. I used the Geo Blocks Foil Plate and matching stencil for my card and did some select stencilling (my favourite way to use stencils).

I started by foiling my background and using the three pink Distress Oxide Inks with my stencils. I then die cut my Curvy Foliage die also by Pink Fresh from matte gold card stock and added it t my panel.

I die cut my Wonderful die by Spellbinders and stamped my accompanying friend die and added them to the panel. I finished off by adding some Pink Fresh pearls!

I have always love a CAS card, I knew I wanted to use a stencil for the Paper Pouncers and some of my favourite Picket Fence Studios sequins, therefore a shaker card!

These leave dies are some of my favourite release of the last few years and I felt they were perfect for a shaker CAS card. I die cut my leaf die from the white panel and then ink blended my secondary  panel wit rainbow distress ink and ink blended my top panel with my stencil.

I then die cut the same die from black glitter paper. I glued an acetate to the back of my panel and then glued the top black leaf. I added my sequins and foam tape then glued both panels together. To finish off, I added my Happy Birthday sentiment!

I started by stencilling my background using the new Stripy Stencil by Hero Arts and the Paper Pouncers by Picket Fence Studios. I loved using these pouncers, so easy and the application is amazing.

I also just received my May card kit so I picked some of the amazing ombre paper from the kit and die cut the Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday sentiment from the same kit and the Simon Says Stamp balloons. I also die cut the sentiment again from matte gold card stock and one balloon. I added the balloons and sentiment to the panel.

To finish off, I added some twine from my stash and some sequins!

I have always loved these bees by Honey Bee Stamps and their Coffee gift card line of dies.  I turned this one into a frap-a-chino for the nicer months! I die cut my elements and stencilled the background of the cup.

I put the cup card base together including the sleeve and set it aside. I die cut my enjoy sentiment and glued it together and then to the sleeve.

I coloured my bee and cut it out and simply glued the wings and the derriere to the bottom of the sleeve. To finish off a few sequins, some hearts and a secondary sentiment by Whimsy stamps for the cover!
