Lawn Fawnatics - Favourite Lawn Fawn

Happy Friday crafty friends! Has been difficult finding my post Christmas mojo! I have been relaxing with family and friends over the last week and re-organizing my craft room, I hope you have found some happy downtime. This project is for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge - Favourite Lawn Fawn.

Ironically enough, when the Fab Flowers set was released last year I was on the fence. Once I bought it I couldn't get enough. I have used it so much that I need to add adhesive to the back of the stamps so they will stay on my blocks or Misti.

I stamped my flowers on different Lawn Fawn card stocks with a mix of Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts die inks and I white embossed some leaves on navy card stock.  Once I die cut my images I decided on a pattern paper from the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6 x 6 pack that complemented my colours.

I then decided to pair everything with the Lawn Fawn Love die and the "With" is also from the Fab Flowers set. I took a picture to place everything in the same place and put my card together. I added a few Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish the project!

Thanks so much for taking the time! If you want to enter the challenge you have until December 31 at 11:59 p.m.!

Happy New Year!

Lawnfawnatics Challenge #4

Happy Thursday! I have been so busy at the office, many changes have increased my workload and unfortunately I have been a little absent from my crafty time!

I had time to play to unwind and I made this card to enter into the Lawnfawnatics Challenge #4 - Black/White and Bright.

For brights I thought what better then the Fab Flowers stamps and dies by Lawn Fawn! I started by stamping those with some bright die inks then pulled out my favourite black and white stripped pattern paper.  I then decided to die cut a half circle and lay my flowers around the side.

I white heat embossed my sentiment on Lawn Fawn Black card stock and added some of the pattern paper and some pink as well.  Finished it off with some Pretty Pink Posh clear drops and some Nuvo Drops in the centre of the flowers.

Thanks so much for taking the time!

Interactive Easter Place Cards with Lawn Fawn :)

I always make place cards for holidays and when I was looking through my stash I thought what better then the Lawn Fawn Pop-Up card :)

I am also going to enter these (my first entry) into the new Lawnfawnatics Challenge - interactive cards

I used the same stamps for each place card I just interchanged the Lawn Fawn pattern paper and the colours.  The bunny and sentiment are from Eggstra Special Easter and I used my Copics for my bunnies :)

The eggs and the small butterfly are from the Lawn Fawn Chirpy, Chirp, Chirp set and I used Lawn Fawn inks to stamp them. The grass is the Grassy Border dies and the green paper is the new Lawn Fawn green card stock.

The large butterfly is from the newer Fab Flowers set (love that set).

The base papers are the 12 x 12 Watercolour wishes papers in different colours

And the pattern papers are also all Lawn Fawn from the Rainbow Plaid, Perfectly Plaid and the blue is from the winter set (I can't remember the name...). All the 6 x 6 paper pads.

Head on over to the Lawnfawnatics Challenge page and enter!

Thanks for taking the time and Happy Easter!

Spring Flowers with Lawn Fawn

Happy first day of Spring crafty friends! Kim with you on this Monday morning and I am sharing spring flowers with happy everything wishes with products that can be found in the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop!

When the new Lawn Fawn release was launched, like many of you, I wanted the whole release especially the fun critters! This Fab Flowers set however is probably one of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets ever! I stamped my flowers using my Misit in various Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts inks. I used LF ButterLF Peachy KeenLF GuavaLF Minty FreshLF MermanLF Celery StickHA Fresh Lawn and LF Freshly Cut Grass I then die cut my images with the coordinating Fab Flowers dies.

I started placing my flowers and decided to die cut two panels the yellow in the back is from the Lawn Fawn Watercolour Wishes 6x6 paper pad. I die cut both panels from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles (largest of the small rectangle set) and started placing my flowers in the bottom corner.  I then decided to die cut one of the three Happy, Happy, Happy Lawn Cuts  and chose the "Everything" sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set (such a versatile sentiment set). I white embossed the sentiment on Lawn Fawn Narwal paper placed all my sentiments and finished it off with some Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets both the 4mm and 6mm.

I added some dot detail with both my white and black gell pens.  I am happy with the way this springy card turned out. Makes me happy to think we shall have flowers, grass and full-on spring soon enough!

All of these products can be found in the shop, if anything is out of stock sign-up to the "notify me" in the product description. Vanessa is very quick to replenish and this helps to know what products are on wish lists!

Have a great week!

Birthday Sloth with Hugs!

Happy Monday! Kim back with you today and I am in a great mood! March has arrived which means spring is around the corner!

My project today features all Lawn Fawn products and is a birthday card for one of my nephews! Go check out the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop for some great Lawn Fawn products, links below!

I have always loved Lawn Fawn and especially their critters. This sloth from the Hang in There stamp set is certainly not an exception - I just love him! I started by stamping and coloring my sloth with Copics (W7 and W5 for the eyes, a mix of W5, W3, E71 and E74 for the body, E40 and E42 for the face). I die cut the image then went through my Lawn Fawn stash and decided on a jungle theme for my nephew Tristan. I used the trees from Critters Down Under and the leaves from Critters in the Jungle.

I then decided to die cut my base panel from Avery Elle's Wonky Stitches Elle-ments. The cloud masks were die cut from Lawn Fawn clouds and I used Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass for the sky. I also used my Copics for the trees and leaves in YG01, YG13 and YG17 and for the tree trunks I used E31, E55, E57 and E77. I then felt I needed to add some more jungle greenery and I used the Grassy Border from Lawn Fawn and added a bit of Mowed Lawn Distress Ink for depth. I put my card together before choosing my sentiment, I ended up loving the Lawn Fawn With Hugs from the Fab Flowers set. I added a few Lawn Fawn hearts and the birthday hat also from Hang in There and a pompom!

Have a great week!

Spring Flowers with New Lawn Fawn!

Happy Monday! Kim with you this morning to share a spring flowers kind of project! March begins in a few days, daylight will become more present which is the beginning of the end of winter! Yay!

My project today features some new Lawn Fawn which can all be found in the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop!

I started by die cutting my Dotted Square die by Lawn Fawn out of Neena Solar White and then die cut the centre with the MFT Peek-A-Boo Circle Windows (love that die set).  I then stamped a bunch the flowers and the butterfly from the new Lawn Fawn Fab Flowers Set in multiple die inks.  I used the matching dies and die cut all the images including one of the "Happies" from the Happpy, Happy, Happy Lawn Cuts set out of dark pink paper from the Watercolor Wishes 6 x 6 paper pack (these two new paper packs rock my little world...I will definitely need more).  I then stamped my birthday sentiment from the Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set in Versafine Onyx black on lavender card stock.  Once all of the elements were die cut, that beautiful plaid pattern paper from the new Rainbow Perfectly Plaid 6 x 6 was screaming my name so I cut a piece to place in back of the white panel, it worked beautifully with my images!

I then used a variety of Nuvo Jewel Drops for accents along with my white gell pen. I really like the way this project turned out, the colors made me all kinds of happy!

Have a great week!
