Avery Elle Storybook

Avery Elle Storybook has to be one of my all-time favourite stamp sets. I love working with critters and these are just so well designed; soft and cute!  I am submitting this one for a first submission to the Avery Elle Challenge which is masking.

Happy 100th to the Lawnscaping Challenge!

This marks the 100th challenge at the Lawnscaping blog therefore, making it quite fitting that the theme be Happy Birthday! I am submitting this card to that challenge featuring the Lawn Fawn Critters Down Under set. I love this set and I was thrilled when Lawn Fawn released the coordinating dies last fall.

I also used the Chit Chat set for the sentiment bubble with matching dies
The papers are from Let's Polka (6x6) and the 4 bar card is also Lawn Fawn
PPP sequins, Copics and My Favourite Things Hybrid Hot Fudge ink
Vellum to soften the brown woodgrain card base.

Thanks for taking the time!

Watercolour Wednesday!

Watercolour intimidates me, may be my control freak nature but I have a hard time embracing this medium.  So for me to be pleased with the way this one turned out is a shocker! Lol.  I used the inspiration picture from the Runway Inspired Challenge, the blues and yellows really made me happy!  I am also entering this one into the Lawnscaping Challenge #99 Clean and Simple, I just love Lawn Fawn products I seem to turn to them often!

Products used:

Lawn Fawn Thanks die
Watercolour Kuretake
Pretty Pink Posh various sequins
Gold thread

Lawnscaping Challenge

I am submitting this one to the Lawnscaping Challenge  create a background.  I believe this is the 99th Lawnscaping challenge.  I find this challenge really fun to participate in, I seem to find my creative mojo for them and Lawn Fawn is one of my favourite companies.  I used a mix of sets for this card, the little diamonds in the background are from the Joy to the Woods set, the birds (probably my favourite go to Lawn Fawn stamps) are from two different sets and the cloud stitched dies.

My picture is reflecting the winter weather here, I am waiting for the light box I ordered to simplify winter pics!

Thanks for taking the time!

Runway Inspired Challenge #76

I made this one using my new Mama Elephant thanks die.  I made this one specifically for the Runway Inspired Challenge #76.  I was inspired by the black, red and white combo and the splotchy looking pattern on the jacket and handbag.  I used some delusions sprays for the background colours on the card.

Thanks for taking the time!

Ralph Lauren Spring - RIC #75

Made this one for the Runway Inspired Challenge #75.  The pink and red mix on the dress were my starting point for the flowers (Memory Box hibiscus die). I also used a Mama Elephant die to create the flow background from vellum to mimic the skirt.  I love the blue stones in the necklace which translated into the SSS hello sentiment.  Scattered a few sequins also to represent the jewels in the necklace.

Thanks for taking the time!

Winter Themed Cards

Happy New Year! I really can't believe the holidays went by so fast and that I haven't posted since December 21!  Like all of you, family takes over as it should be over the holidays :)  This one is both valentine and winter themed.  I just love this Lawn Fawn penguin and for some reason did not get around to using him on any Christmas cards. I am submitting this one to the Lawnscaping Winter Themed Challenge.

Lawn Fawn Penguin stamp and die
Stitched rectangle die
Stitched snowy borders die
Love die
Small heart die Lawn Fawn as well (on trees)
For the ice and trees I used a Wplus9 set
Copics and Simon Says Stamp Sea glass Ink for the background
And PPP sequins!
