Simon Says: Anything Goes!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring Alex Syberia products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I love the font of these Alex Syberia dies! So much fun and this was an easy card to make. I started by stencilling my background panel in rainbow inks. I then die cut my sentiments and glued them to the panel.

I took my large balloon and die cut that from Sugar Crystal card stock and added it to the panel using foam tape.

To finish off, some twine from my stash and some glue to place it where I wanted and some iridescent gems!

Simon Says: Make It Sparkle!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Make It Sparkle and we are featuring always super fun Colorado Crafts Company products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Such a fun stamp set, I so enjoyed making this one. These little critters are adorable! I started by ink blending my background panel using Evergreen Bough Distress Ink (I make at least one Christmas card annually using this color of Distress Ink, I just love it.) and then using my Snow Stencil by Simon Says Stamp first with White Pigment Ink and then over that using Tonic Moonstone Glimmer Paste.

I outlined my snow hill using grey Copic Markers and then added some Prism Glitter. I set the panel aside to dry while I worked on my critters.

I stamped and colored my images using Copic markers and used the accompanying dies. I added some white Gell pen detail. Once my panel was dry, I stamped my sentiment added my cute critters and some clay hearts.

I added the panel to my card and added two stripes of Candy Cane paper from my stash, I felt the card needed a little more red!

Simon Says: Thanks/Thanksgiving

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Thanks/Thanksgiving and we are featuring always super fun Whimsy Stamps products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I started by partially Ink Blending my Harlequin Stencil with a mix of Distress Inks and trimmed the panel down slightly to give a border on the card base.

I die cut my Thank You die using gold card stock and glued it to the panel.

I gold embossed my secondary sentiment and added it using foam tape. To finish off, some Iridescent gems!

Simon Says: Thinking of You!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Thinking of You and we are featuring Birch Press Design products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

It's Remembrance Day in Canada on November 11, and I felt like turning this beautiful Birch Press Cosmos Die into a Poppy to underline the importance of the week leading to the day. I am so happy with the way this turned out, aside from Christmas I don't use that much red on my cards.

I die (die has two different petals) cut my flower (twice, which gave me four different petal pieces) and added some Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to give the petals some depth.  I then took my favourite Whimsy Stamps double rectangle die (I use this die all the time) and die cut it from Black Glitter card stock.

I then took this Hero Arts stencil and ink blended a select area on my background panel in red. I glued my black frame to the panel and then my flower using foam tape.

For my sentiments, I used Spellbinders Wonderful Script Sentiments for the You die and the Everyday Sentiments 2 Glimmer Plates. To finish off, some Pink Fresh Studio Ruby gems.

Simon Says: Emboss It!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Emboss It and we are featuring Crafter's Companion products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

This stamp and die set by Crafter's Companion is such fun, I love the scale of it. I started by die cutting my panel with the Birthday die and I then embossed the top and then the bottom using my Simon Says Stamp 3D Embossing folder (products listed below).

I added my patterned paper to the background and then stamped my secondary sentiment from the same Crafter's Companion set on a piece of Guava card stock trimmed it and added it to my panel.

To finish off, my favourite iridescent gems!
