Simon Says: Anything Goes with Paper Rose!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes! We are featuring Paper Rose products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love this cover plate die, these dies are versatile. You can use them as is with whatever paper you chose or turn it into a stencil and use select areas.

I decided to ink blend a panel and die cut it. I used obviously rainbow colors and splattered some black Distress Paint and set it aside to dry.

I decided to add the Simon Says Stamp Eucalyptus Wreath around my sentiment and die cut it from Tonic white glitter paper.

I then stamped my centre sentiment also by Simon Says Stamp using Onyx Black Ink and added some pearl embossing power by Altenew and heat set it for some shine!

To finish off, I die cut a panel from the same tonic white glitter paper (it has a yellowish base and looks different from Neena Solar white) and added my die cut panel to the top. To finish off, I added some rainbow sequins and a candy heart!

Simon Says Stamp All the Feels Release

It's Simon Says Stamp - All the Feels release day!

I love the theme of this release, one year + into this pandemic and we all need "all the feels" lol.

I used the beautiful Sweet Garden Cherry Tree die as the feature for these two cards. I though it was so beautiful that die cutting it in white would be lovely with some pattern paper.  I chose the new Paper Rose dip dye paper pack for my backgrounds.

I decided that the Tim Holtz metallic paper would make for beautiful complimentary sentiments. I used both the Simon Says Stamp Friend die and the Simon Says Stamps/CZ Designs Congrats die for each of these.

The super fun Tim Holtz typed messages that were in the March 2021 Simon Says Stamp card kit were the perfect pairing for this pair of cards.

I then added some Rose Gold sequins to the Congrats card and some Mint Mix sequins to the Friend card.

Thanks for taking the time, check out the amazing new release and inspiration. Products used are listed and linked below, affiliate links used at no extra cost to you!

Simon Says: Spring/Easter Mood Board

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Spring Mood Board! We are featuring always amazing Lawn Fawn products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I was inspired by the spring flowers from the mood board!

I think the Lawn Fawn Fab Flowers stamp and die set is my favorite Lawn Fawn set (if it's possible to have a favorite, lol). This pandemic has made me realize that going back into my stash will keep me creative and inspire me to use some of my older products that, to me, are timeless!

I paired my fab flowers with this amazing Simon Says Stamp Tulip Collage die which I die cut from Lawn Fawn woodgrain card stock.  I then stamped and die cut my flowers, leaves and butterfly.

I decided on one of my favorite Lawn Fawn paper packs, the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow for the background. I die cut the pattern paper and then lined up my Tulip piece to stamp my sentiment. I glued the back panel to the top using foam tape and added my images.

To finish off, I added some fun rainbow sequins from my stash and some white gel pen detail!

Simon Says: Use Two or More Pattern Papers!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Use Two or More Pattern Papers! We are featuring always fun Doodlebug products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I decided to use the super fun Deco Hat Gnome by Simon Says Stamp this week :) The elements on his hat were perfect to use multiple patter papers by Doodlebug!

I die cut all of my elements, I coloured the nose and beard using my Copic Markers and put everything together.

I die cut my panel and used two of the Honey Bee polka dot stencils for my background. I added my Gnome with gold twine from my stash using foam tape.

I then die cut my Hugs sentiment by Simon Says Stamp and added it to the panel. The secondary sentiment is from a fun Doodlebug stamp set and I embossed that using gold sparkle embossing powder.

To finish off, I added some Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins. I am super happy with the way this one turned out, super fun project.

Hello Friend!

Happy Monday! I am over on the LDRS Blog this morning sharing a scene card using the adorable new Friends Like You stamp and die set!

I started by stamping and coloring the sweet images from the Friends Like You Stamp Set and used the accompanying dies, set my images aside to work on my panel.

I die cut a Slimline panel using the Slim Line Corner Scallop Dies and ink blended my clouds and grass.

I decided that I needed to add the tree from the Build-A-Tree stamp set so I stamped it and colored it then used the accompanying die. I added my elements on the panel using foam tape.

I chose the amazing new Sophie's Alphabet dies both upper and lower for my hello and die cut them from specialty paper.

For my secondary sentiment, I used the Friend word from he Friends like you stamp set and added some PostIt tape to the parts I did not want to stamp.

Simon Says: Bit O' Green!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Bit O' Green! We are featuring always fun Sunny Studio products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Bit O' Green for me means St-Patrick's Day - my favorite day of the year! It is my happy day for many reason's so I absolutely needed a St-Patrick's themed card for this weeks challenge!

I started by die cutting my Simon Says Stamp Leprechaun from a mix of Neens Solar White card stock and some Lawn Fawn coloured card stocks. For my Leprechaun's face and beard I used Copic Markers and for added dimension to the pot and top hat, I ink blended some Distress Inks and put him together on the base die cut.

I die cut my background panel and used an MFT Cloud Stencil with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink. I then die cut multiple Sunny Studio pattern papers with a rainbow die and glued the rainbow to the panel (I kept the leftover pieces for another project, or multiple projects).

I added him to the panel using a small action wobbler (such fun)! I then chose a Mama Elephant happy die and used black fun foam and Shamrock Glitter paper and added it to the panel then added my secondary sentiment from Sunny Studio.

To finish off, I added some Shamrocks and some white gel pen detail!

Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit

Happy International Women's Day! I was playing with my Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit over the weekend and I thought this was perfect to share today! The kit is still available in limited quantities!

I chose some of the amazing pattern papers from the kit along with the Beautiful script die.  I started by laying out my elements to see what I wanted the end result to be and I chose this butterfly from an older Simon Says Stamp Comfort and Prayers set.

I used my Zig Markers to color the Butterfly and fussy cut my image. I trimmed and die cut my papers and placed them on my card base with a mix of tape runner and fun foam. I die cut my Beautiful with Tonic Harvest Gold and Lawn Fawn Black Licorice and glued it to the panel.

I then glued my butterfly using a Darice foam strip and lifted the wings and added some white gel pen detail.

I used the Hello from the new Simon Says Stamp Spring Birds set and added it to the top of the cutout. To finish off, I used some sequins from my stash!
