Hero Arts Christmas

I seem to be really getting into the spirit of making holiday cards! I have been going through my stamp sets to try and purge but I keep finding older sets to pair with new ones!  I picked up the new Hero Arts holly set and paired it with an older sentiment set that I still use. So much so, the clear stamps have all lost their sticky! I need to add adhesive to the back for my clear blocks to hold them! I really enjoyed making this one the background stamping took a lot of time but I feel it was worth it.

I will also submit this one to the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge.

Hero Arts Holiday Tags

Here are some quick, fun tags I made using an older Stamp and Cut from Hero Arts that was exclusive to Archiver's.  Really simple to make and easy to mass produce, I love die cuts!

  • Tag It - Either make a holiday gift tag or add a tag to your card creation.

Hero Arts Holidays

I love going through my stamps and finding older sets to use again.  I am submitting this one to the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge.  I always loved these little houses!

More Lawn Fawn

The bunny is from an older Lawn Fawn set, I still love this little guy! The birch trees, sentiment and heart are from Joy to the Woods. I embossed the vellum with an embossing folder, his puffy tail is embossing paste and I coloured with Copics. He was such fun to put together!

I white heat embossed the trees on grey card stock and simply added grey shadow.

Lawn Fawn Halloween

This Lawn Fawn goodie bag die is going a long way for many of my projects, one of my favourite products in a long time.  This bag is one of three for my neighbor's children and I will enter it in the  Lawnscapping Challenge for Halloween projects.

For the vellum piece, I die cut it first with the largest of the small stitched rectangles set.  I then die cut it again using the goodie bag die so it would fit perfectly in the centre with the great stitched lines.

I used the clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on all the main image, hard to see in the photo but looks nice in real time!

Crazy Simon Says Stamp Animals!

The animal stamp set in question was designed by Sandy Allnock and is one of my favourites! I am a major champion of animals and the crazier the better, this set is right up my alley! A little FYI - Sandy Allnock lost her dog last week, I can so sympathize I lost my 14 year-old Gummer girl in 2013 (18 months ago) and I still shed tears when I think of her.  She didn't want any sympathy comments so I will do it here, she compiled a video of pictures with her Ciara and I cried when I watched it remembering my Gummer.  My heart hurts for her right now. So what better than a crazy Goat! Lol.

SSS inks as well, SSS lot of dots set.
And some fun!

Thanks for taking the time I swear last post today....

RIC #69 - Cynthia Rowley

I haven't been able to submit to the Runway Inspired Challenge in a while... Damn day job! Here is my submission for the RIC #69 Cynthia Rowley Challenge. I was inspired by the sun and stars in the background as well as the gold, yellow and black colour mix.

All Lawn Fawn with the exception of the Hero Arts/Basic Grey Background

Hero Arts

Hero Arts remains one of my favourite companies. It was the first I discovered and above that the Hero Arts Flickr Group is a wonderful place for a new stamper to begin. The amount of support and the overwhelming positive atmosphere is bar none! I enjoy all of it! I haven't been on Flickr much lately but I always go back for the Hero Arts Scrambles!

This one is for the new Hero Arts Holiday Challenge:
  • Mad About Metallics - Brighten up your holiday creations with touches of gold, silver, copper, or bronze. Embossing, gems, sequins and glitter are just a few of the ways you can incorporate this hot trend.

I picked up the tree stamp at Michaels (I don't like that Michaels never has a name for the stamp) the code is K5949 (Hero Arts)
The Background is a Hero Arts with Basic Grey.
Sentiment is also Hero Arts.

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!

I can't get enough of the holiday season, long weekend and I looked through all the Christmas stamps I had yet to try. Four are from Stampendous and my favourite snowman ever is the first.  I have used him repeatedly and he is from Penny Black. These are just for fun and to play with my copics.

Lawn Fawn Tag

I must apologies, I will have many posts today holiday weekends make me crafty!

These bunnies, oh these bunnies... I just love this tag! I used the stitched snowflake dies for the background with pattern paper from the snow day collection and the large tag as well. This will probably make it to on to one of my husbands gifts! I am also entering this one to the Lawnscapping challenge.

Lawnfawn Thanksgiving

So it is Canadian Thanksgiving today. My favourite holiday! We all ate so much (dogs and the cat included)!  We usually host Thanksgiving and this year was not an acception.  I used Lawn Fawn products for my centrepieces and name place tags, I have only taken a picture of a few samples. The pattern papers are from the Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather collection. All stamps are from Lawn Fawn (letters) the stitched leaves dies are Lawn Fawn as well. Hero Arts gold spray and the happy die is from Simon Says Stamp.  My goddaughter Ashley helped to put the flower "pots" together made from the goodie bag die.  I love the way they turned out. :)  I am entering them into the Lawnscapping Pattern Paper Challenge.
