Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring: Penny Black!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring Penny Black products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

The inspiration for this card came from the amazing Honey Bee Playful Pastels 6x6 paper pack. This is my favourite pattern in the pack and I have managed to make three card using the one piece of plaid paper and I am clearly going to hoard the one I have left, lol!

I stamped my flowers from the Penny Black Blooms clear stamp set and chose my Copic markers based on the paper.

I die cut my panel using some of my favorite Lawn Fawn stitched border dies and trimmed off the excess paper. I die cut my Simon Says Stamp Happy die from black card stock and some Tim Holtz Metallic Confections for the purple topper sentiment.

I added my panel to the card base using fun foam and I finished off with some Tonic Dream Drops on the bow and a mix of sequins and candy hearts.

Simon Says Stamp: Born To Sparkle Release!

Time for an amazing new Simon Says Stamp Brand Exclusive Release! Born to Sparkle is live now over at SimonSaysStamp.com

This release is amazing! I got to play with the Wishing You Joy die set and the super fun Party Balloons Large Cling Background Stamp.

For my first card I stamped and embossed my Party Balloons and coloured them in using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. These markers are such fun and are so quick to blend and color with.

I added some Tonic Dream Drops on the confetti and set the panel aside to dry. I die cut my sentiments from Tonic specialty paper and once the panel was dry put all of my elements together.

To finish off, I added some gold Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

For my second card using the Wishing You Joy die set. I started by masking my panel and then ink blending over my I like Small Dots stencil and then did all of my die cutting.  I added my Simple Stem Die on the panel and then used foam tape for the Wishing You Joy die set and added some of my Eucalyptus leaves top and bottom. There is something about these Simon Says Stamp leaves that I adore, so much can be done with them.

I finished off with a mix of sequins and candy hearts from my stash!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Sending Hugs We are featuring Impression Obsession products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Loved playing with this theme, there are so many people I want to hug right now and can't but I can send them! I started with this gorgeous MFT Corner Blooms Cling Stamp and my Karin Markers and a rainbow!

I stamped my image using my Ink on 3 No Line Coloring Ink and took out my Karin Markers that I am learning to love! The colors are so vibrant and fun to work with. I still adore my Zigs but these are fun too!

I let the image dry properly then die cut using a stitched rectangle die and added some black, white and gold gel pen detail to the blooms.

I added my Impression Obsession Sending Hugs cling stamp nestled into a corner of the blooms using Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold embossing powder.

I added some fun foam to the back of my panel and glued it to the card base. To finish off, I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins.

Lily Wishes!

Happy Friday crafty friends! Sharing a floral best wishes card using some of the amazing new LDRS Creative products this morning.

I had a distinct vision of how I wanted to color my Lily for this card. I love to research options on google and this beautiful multi-colored Lily just inspired me. I colored in my flower and leaves and then used the accompanying die.

I then die cut my panel using the amazing A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers (middle size). For my "stencilled" background I die cut the beautiful Floral Mosaic A2 Cover Plate from some heavy vellum to use as a stencil and did some selective ink blending on the panel.

I then chose the amazing sentiments and dies from the new Magnolia stamp and die set. I white embossed the Best Wishes and used my Raven Hybrid Ink for the secondary sentiment.

I put everything together and added some white and black gel pen detail to my Lily.

Simon Says: Clean and Simple

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Clean and Simple! We are featuring always amazing Hero Arts products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Like many of you I am sure, Hero Arts was my first experience with stamping and card making. I love my Hero Arts! I also love playing with CAS cards!

I used some fun newer Hero Arts products for this card and an amazing Simon Says Stamp embossing folder :)

I started by die cutting my panel with both a stitched rectangle die and the geometric sun die. I then embossed my panel and die cut a series of specialty paper with the geometric sun.  I filled in my sun with the pieces I die cut.

I used the XL stamp and cut Happy Thanks for the happy sentiment and a Mama Elephant "everything" clear stamp for the secondary sentiment.

To finish off, I added a few of my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins!

50dollar_voucher_600px

PRIZE 2 is a fabulous Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit, due to be released on the 14th April!

I thought using my beautiful April Card Kit for this project was in order. I mean, this stamp set... swoon! I decided to use my Karin Markers on this gorgeous bouquet.  As I write this, there are still a few full card kits available and I linked below. I also linked to the stamp set and paper pack included in the kite separately.

I stamped and gold embossed my bouquet and coloured in the image (getting used to and enjoying my Karin markers).  I then trimmed the panel to accommodate some real-estate for the pattern paper strip.

I added the black stripe to my card base and then added the top panel using fun foam for added dimension.

I added the sentiment from an older Simon Says Stamp Birthday numbers stamp set and to finish off, my favourite Sparkling Clear Sequins!
