Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Mama Elephant!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always amazing Mama Elephant products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love Mama Elephant penguins, I own all of the Mama Elephant Penguins, lol! So when planning this weeks project I wanted to use the new Hot Cocoa stamp set and I, of course, chose the penguin from the set.

I stamped four of them and coloured them in with my COPIC markers and fussy cut them and set them aside.

I cut a piece of Neena Desert Storm to 6x6 and white embossed the Pink Fresh Studio plaid cling stamp. This size let me die cut all four of my Mama Elephant tags.

I also die cut a snowflake die also by Mama Elephant using Sugar Crystal Glitter paper.

I added some Unicorn Dust Glitter and white gel pen detail. I added all of my elements on my tags using glue and foam tape. I chose the Warm Wishes stamp from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas stamp set and die cut them using a small banner die by MFT.

Simon Says: Make You Own Background!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Make Your Own Background and we are featuring Paper Rose products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I enjoyed working with this design so much that I made a second more traditional version below. I ink blended my panel using my Distress Inks and the Paper Rose Spotted Gum Leaf Stencil.

I die cut the Paper Rose sentiment in the centre of the panel first to do some die cut inlay so the sentiment would be lined-up properly.

I die cut it again using Tonic Honey Gold, fun foam and some StickIt and then added it to the panel. To finish off some iridescent sequins from my stash. Quick and easy card and I love the effect!

This one was more time consuming, but I love the way it turned out! I used some Tonic Glitter Paste on Neena Desert Storm card stock with the same stencil as my first card and set it aside to dry with both colors.

I used a Sugar Crystal Glitter Paper, fun foam and StickIt sandwich for this die cut as well and then added it to my card base. I am super happy with the way they both turned out.

Simon Says: Thanks/Thanksgiving featuring Technique Tuesday

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Thanks/Thanksgiving and we are featuring Technique Tuesday products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I loved the scale of this Technique Tuesday Anemone Flower Stamp and I really wanted to use fall colors on this so I chose a mix of pink, orange and purple COPIC markers. I stamped the flower and colored it using the flicking technique and then fussy cut it out.

I die cut my background panel and my Simon Says Stamp Delicate Leafy Die from Honey Gold Tonic card stock. I lined my elements on the card base and decided that I needed some more background texture so I chose this Simon Says Stamp Crystal Distortion 3D embossing folder.

I am so happy with the background, I love these embossing folders! I used a mix of glue and foam tape to add the leaves and the flower.

I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Thankful die with the same Honey Gold paper and Tonic Black glitter paper added it to the panel and stamped and embossed the secondary sentiment also from Simon Says Stamp. To finish off, some Studio Katia Icy Sparkle Crystals.

Simon Says Stamp Handmade Holiday Release!

Happy Wednesday crafty friends! Time for the amazing Simon Says Stamp Handmade Holiday release!

I don't know about you but I love holiday/Christmas projects! I have three for you today using some of the amazing new products.

For this first card I used the new Layering Holiday Grid stencil, you get two in the package the grid itself and the topper which has these wonderful traditional holiday greetings and symbols. I used the amazing new Simon Says Stamp Glitz Glitter Gel with the topper stencil in Cherry, Pearfection and Citrine. I added some twine from my stash to mimic a present and a Tiny Words Christmas sentiment with a Simon Says Stamp small tag die.

I did some die cut inlay for these three tags using the new First Night Wafer Die. I started by ink blending some Distress Inks and adding some Altenew translucent embossing powder to give them some shine.

I chose a circle die from my stash in the same size and die cut some glitter card stock for my background. I die cut the top layer using the ink blended panel and some black card stock and put my elements together.  I added cord from my stash, some sparkly stars and another Tiny Words Christmas stamp set.

I decide on some non-traditional colors for this slimline, I ink blended some Oxide Inks then stamped my images from the large Night Before Christmas Cling Stamp. I used the large Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil and added both some Moonshine glitter paste and some white glitter paste. I embossed both my sentiments using the Simon Says Stamp Magic of Christmas clear stamp set on Tonic Specialty card stocks in matching colors and added them to the panel!

This is an amazing release! Thanks for taking the time! Products used are listed and linked below, affiliate links used at no extra cost to you!

Simon Says: Thinking of You featuring Hero Arts

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Thinking of You and we are featuring always amazing Hero Arts products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I was really excited to use this amazing String Dots background stamp by Hero Arts and the new Etched Layered Daisy by Simon Says Stamp for this card. This is a very neutral and natural card different from what I usually design but I wanted the focus on both the background and the Daisy I felt this was the best way to feature both and they not competing too much.

I stamped my background stamp and embossed with some translucent pearl powder, which gives it a nice shine in-person. I set it aside once I die cut the panel and die cut my flower and ink blended the flower centre.  I then glued the two pieces together. I added the flower to the panel using foam tape for added dimension.

I chose the Missing You sentiment from the Hibiscus Blooms also by Simon Says Stamp. I white embossed it on Honey Gold Tonic card stock. To finish off, a red candy heart on the flower centre and some of these amazing new Moonstones Gems by Lucy's Little Things.

Glad Tidings of Great Joy!

Hello crafty friends! I got to play with the amazing Simon Says Stamp November card kit over the weekend!

I started by choosing one of the amazing pattern paper pieces and the stencil from the kit. I die cut my panel and masked the berry part of the stencil and then added some Tonic Esmeralda Green Glitter paste. Once the panel was dry, I used the stencil as my map and added some Tonic Holly Berries Jewel Drops. I am in love with these Jewel Drops, they really give a great berry effect.

I set the panel aside to dry again overnight to ensure that the Jewel Drops were really dry. I die cut (yes, once again the new Joy die from Simon Says Stamp it is my favourite this year) from Lawn Fawn Chilli Pepper card stock and Tonic Sugar Crystal Glitter paper.

Glued them together and added some fun foam to the back for dimension. I paired the Joy with a secondary sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas and die cut using a banner die.

I added the panel to the card base and to finish off, some Sparkling Clear Sequins!
