Christmas Gift Tags - First of the Season!

Happy Friday crafty friends! Time to start my holiday paper crafts and here is my first tag set of the season!

I love making gift tags, and I make usually five of the same design that obviously work with my favorite wrapping paper!

The Simon Says Stamp brand snowflakes can be seen on one of my tag designs every year and these are this year's using some more "art deco" type snowflakes.

Just ordered these ModaScrap Diamond Tag Dies from Simon Says Stamp and I needed to try them, I love this tag shape. I die cut my tags from Tonic Sugar Crystal Glitter card stock and then chose my snowflakes.

I used some turquoise and red Tonic glitter paper for my snowflakes and added them to the tags with a mix of glue and foam tape.

I chose these super fun Spellbinders Hot Glitter Foil plates for the sentiments they come with the accompanying die cuts and are perfect for tags.

I hot foiled a series of sentiments and color mixes so I could simply reach for what I needed during the season. I am slightly obsessed with my Glimmer Hot Foil machine but I always try and do multiples when I have it at the ready and warmed up.

I added my sentiments with foam tape as well and added some red twine from my stash. Thanks so much for taking the time! Products used are linked and listed below, affiliate links used at no extra cost to you!

Christmas Joy!

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Sharing a holiday card featuring the amazing new Simon Says Stamp Joy die set. There is an expression in French that goes "Coup de Coeur" which means roughly translated falling for something or the apple of my eye of the last release!

You will see me using this die regularly this holiday season!  I started by cutting my Marina Mist Iridescent Card Stock and embossed it with my Simon Says Stamp 3D snowflake embossing folder.

I then die cut my Joy sentiment from two Tonic Glitter papers and glued them together.

I chose three of the Simon Says Stamp snowflake dies and die cut them from Tonic Sugar Crystal glitter paper and glued them to the panel and cut the excess.

I added the Joy sentiment using foam tape for added dimension.

I added the panel to the card base with fun foam on the back and finished off with some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Spooky/Halloween and we are featuring always amazing Simon Says Stamp brand exclusive products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I have always adored making Halloween projects. I got to use some of the new Peace on Earth release products by Simon Says Stamp for this card.

I started by die cutting my Ghost Boo Wafer Die in both Tonic Sugar Crystal and Lawn Fawn Black Licorice card stocks and layering them together.

I decided to use the amazing new Pumpkins Stencil for my background. I ink blended several Distress Inks listed below and removed my stencil. I went over very lightly with the same inks to tone down the white lines.

I then added my Ghost using an Action Wobbler, they are so much fun! I then gold embossed my sentiments form the Let the Gourd Times Roll clear stamp set and die cut them with a banner die and added them using foam tape.

To finish off, I added various sequins from my stash in complementary colors!

Simon Says Stamp Peace On Earth

Happy Friday crafty friends! I had such fun playing with some of the new Simon Says Stamp Peace on Earth product release!

I am in LOVE with the Joy die from the newest release, so of course, it was my starting point.

My first Christmas card this year which is late for me but I am super happy with it. I used the amazing Simon Says Stamp Holographic Lava card stock for my background panel and cut a pieces to 4.25 x 5.5.

I then embossed the Geometric Snowflakes 6x6 background stamp with white embossing powder.

I die cut my Joy die from both Tonic flat red card stock and white glitter. I glued everything together and added some fun foam for dimension.

I then took out my Christmas Foliage die set an older Simon Says Stamp set from a few years ago and die cut some holly and leaves.

I glued my leaves and berries surrounding the sentiment and finished off adding some Christmas red sequins to my top right corner.

Simon Says: Not A Card!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Not a Card and we are featuring always amazing Tim Holtz products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I simply adore making Halloween projects so I had to make tags that will go on Halloween candies for our neighbours kids.  These Tim Holtz Costume Party Dies are so much fun to put together.

For all three tags, I die cut my Spider Web die glued it to card stock and then die cut my tag shape using a mix of Simon Says Stamp and Lawn Fawn Card Stocks from my stash.

I went with typical Halloween colors of orange, purple and green.

To make the characters the focus I added a vellum overlay to all three tags and then added my "monsters" with foam tape.  I also die cut a Simon Says Stamp ghost that has the "Boo" embedded on the die cut. I used that as my sentiment for all three tags.

To finish off, I added some white gel pen detail to all the characters and ribbon from my stash.

I haven't made a scene card in such a long time! Had fun with this little scene featuring some newer Lawn Fawn stamps.  This Toucan Do It stamp and die set is super cute.

I stamped and colored my images and used the accompanying die cuts and set them aside to work on my background panel.

I stencilled my grass and clouds with some Distress Ink. I die cut my leaf frame and lined up my images  then chose where I would die cut my Lawn Fawn Slider die for one of my Toucan's and die cut it.

I set up my Toucan on the slider and then added the remaining images. I used Darice foam strips for my leafy frame and added my "Pull Here" circle.

To finish off my sentiment strip, some google eyes, white gel pen detail and some gems
