Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes! We are featuring Penny Black products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I used the Winter Wonderland set by Penny Black an oldie but a goodie! I have always loved these birds and for those of you that follow my blog you will know that I have a serious obsession with Christmas tags :)

I die cut nine of the Mama Elephant base tag and started by stamping and colouring my birds using my trusty Copic Markers.

I used one of my Honeybee polka dot stencils and blended some red ink to three other tags for the background. I then used the second die from the Mama Elephant set which give a window on the top tag.

Once that was done I stamped my sentiment from the same Penny Black set on the inside (see picture below).

I glued my elements together and added some Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Confetti to the hats a candy heart on all three tags and some red twine from my stash!

Wishing you love this holiday season!

Happy Wednesday crafty friends! I am sharing a holiday card using some of the amazing LDRS Christmas products!

I wanted to feature this beautiful sentiment from the Elegant Holiday Wishes stamp set. I just love the font and it is a perfect sentiment to send to a loved one.

I started by stamping my sentiment in white embossing powder. I then stamped my tree border from the Pine Tree Forest stamp set in two different ink colors.

I masked my "snow" hill and proceeded to ink blend my sky. Once that was complete, I decided to stamp my sentiment a second time using matching ink offset from the embossed one to give it a shadow.

I added some glitter to the bottom of the row of trees and set it aside to dry. The single trees are from the Snow Deer to Me stamp set and I used silver embossing powder for them.

Once the glitter was dry, I added my trees using foam tape and added some snowflakes to the sky. I am really happy with the way this one turned out. All the products used are listed and linked below, affiliate links used at no extra cost to you!

Santa Man!

Happy Tuesday crafty friends!  Sharing a Christmas card featuring the amazing Santa Man wafer die from the Make Merry release!

I love this guy, such fun to work with. The set itself comes with two different variations of glasses for the Santa, I die cut my Santa elements from both Neena Solar white, Tonic Glitter and Lawn Fawn Black Licorice paper. I colored the beard using some Neutral Gray Copic markers.

I chose some Honeybee pattern paper for the background and embossed my Neena Solar White paper with my falling snow embossing folder and added my elements to the white panel.

I added some Polar White Flower Soft to the Santa's hat and some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the sun glasses and set it aside to dry.

I love this Simon Says Stamp Joyeux Noel die, most of my family is unilingual French so this sentiment comes in so handy for me every year.

Once my panel was dry, I put my card together and added the sentiment and to finish off some white gel pen detail to the sunglasses!

Simon Says: Christmas

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Christmas! We are featuring Memory Box products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love this Mistletoe Bundle by Memory Box, the size of this die is such fun! I die cut my leaves from Neena Solar white and the bow from Tonic red specialty paper.

I coloured the leaves using my Copic Markers and put the die aside to work on the remainder of the design.

I die cut a Neena Solar White panel using an oval die and then used an older Tim Holtz falling snow embossing folder. For the background, I chose some Tonic Sugar Crystal Glitter paper and added the top panel using foam tape.

I chose the Joy from the new Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle Greetings stamp and die set and embossed it using metallic red glitter.  I placed my mistletoe and joy sentiment (I cut the excess) using foam tape on the panels and added some opaque white gems from my stash.

I felt that the card needed something more so I added a Lawn Fawn secondary sentiment embossed on the same Tonic red specialty paper and some Pretty Pink Posh red sequins.

My Favorite Things Christmas Tags

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! I was so excited to play with these MFT Stamps Holly Jolly Cardinals Die-Namics. The size of these made tags such fun to make!

I decided to die cut my elements using felt from my stash, so happy I did I love the way they turned out.  I decided to make a more traditional in color version and if you follow me you know that I love to use pastel colors for Christmas :)

Once my cardinal elements were die cut and put together, I die cut three tags from Neena Desert Storm cardstock and a ModaScrap tag die. I used my Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil and some texture paste and put them aside to dry.

I used the Spellbinders Glimmer Foil system for the sentiments in coordinating colors and then die cut them.  I also die cut the foliage from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Foliage dies

I put all of my elements on the tag base and I ended up cutting my own white felt for the Santa's hats only to realize that the die set had... Leave it to me and OF COURSE MFT would think of that, lol!

To finish off, I added a few red gems as berries, some ribbon and twine to the tops!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Thanks/Thanksgiving! We are featuring always amazing Pinkfresh Studio products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Since Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, I decided to go with a Thankful For You card :) I love fall and this year has been pretty exceptional in Montreal.  I paired my Pinkfresh Studio frames with these adorable Honey Bee stamps squirrels and pattern paper.

I started by picking my pattern paper and then chose the Tonic specialty paper for my frames. I die cut the frames three times for dimension and I did die cut inlay so that the frames would be as straight as possible.

I stamped and coloured my squirrels with my Copic markers and used the accompanying dies. I chose the Simon Says Stamp thankful die set and cut it from brown cardstock and cork from my stash.  I took the For You from the same Honey Bee stamp set and embossed it with brown embossing powder on Neena Desert Storm cardstock.

I put all of my elements on the panel with a mix of foam tape and tape runner. To finish off, I added a red candy heart and some black and white gel pen detail.

Pink Christmas

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Sharing a Christmas card today featuring the new Sunny Studio Retro Ornaments stamp set.

There is something about using pink for a Christmas card that simply makes me happy.  The LDRS Pink snowflake paper was my inspiration for this card.

I started by stamping my ornaments and then adding some grey Copic colouring for shading.  I embossed my topper and then added Translucent Pearl embossing to the entire ornaments.  I added some bows die cut from Tonic Glitter paper.

I used the branches from a Simon Says Stamp set and embossed in the same colour as the toppers and added the strings.

I die cut the panel using a Lawn Fawn border die and trimmed the excess and added my ornaments using foam tape then added my embossed sentiment.

I cut some slim glitter strips and added them and the panel to my pattern paper.  To finish off, white gel pen detail and some sparkling clear sequins!

Simon Says Stamp Holly Jolly Release!

Happy Friday crafty friends! Time for another fabulous Simon Says Stamp brand exclusive release! This month they are releasing Holly Jolly!

I got to play with the new Merry Chunky dies, the Christmas Kitties and the amazing new Unicorn Confetti!

I decided on a slimline card for my first project to really showcase the Merry dies, the size is such fun. I used Distress Inks for my background (Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Faded Jeans) and added some water droplets using my Distress Sprayer. Once my panel was dry, I used my Falling Snow stencil and some white Texture Paste and put it aside to dry.

I took a bunch of glitter paper and die cut some of my favorite Simon Says Stamp snowflake dies. I used the same papers for my Merry dies and added everything to my panel. I wanted a large enough Christmas sentiment so I chose one from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Cheer set and white embossed it on some Tonic Blue specialty cardstock.

To finish off, I added seem Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Silver Jewels to the snowflake centres!

So, how cute are these Christmas Kitties! I thought they were perfect for Christmas tags. I used a Simon Says Stamp tag die and stamped my Kitties and colored them in and decided to add some of the borders from last years Critter Sweaters stamp set in matching colors.  I then added some Unicorn Confetti to parts of the sweaters and scarf.

For my sentiment, I used the smaller tag die from the same tag set and white embossed my sentiment. I then decided to die cut complimentary colored tags from specialty paper for the back of the kitty tag. I put them together with twine from my stash and for a finishing touch, candy hearts to the side of the tag!

This release is seriously amazing! Thanks for taking the time, products used are listed and linked below affiliate links used at no extra cost to you!
