I love playing with the Gina K. Designs flowers stamps :) they are all just so pretty! For my card today, I chose to go with the Heartfelt Hydrangea and Scripty Love sentiments.

I stamped my flower on my Neena Solar White panel in my stamping tool and coloured the image with my Copic markers.  I placed the panel back in the stamping tool and used Versafine so that I could gold emboss my image.

I then lined up my sentiment, stamped and gold embossed it as well. I used one of my MFT stitch border dies for the sides of the panel and cut the excess paper with my trimmer.

I cut a piece of Simon Says Stamp Blue Violet paper to 5.5 x 4.25 and used the Simon Says stamp Quilted Hearts Background Cling Stamp and gold embossed it as well. I used fun foam and placed my top panel on the blue violet piece and glued it all to my card base.

I finished it off with some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels, Sequins and Nuvo Dandelion drops on the flower centres.

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Bright Colors Moodboard! The design team is featuring always super fun Doodlebug products!  It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

This gorgeous mood board was designed by my talented teammate Karin!

Go rainbow or go home is what I call this card! I started by choosing my Sunny Studio paper for the background and that gave me my Copic marker colors for my Doodlebug Unicorns!

I stamped and coloured them in and once that was complete I added some of the fantastic Simon Says Stamp Unicorn dust on the manes! I love the stuff! I put them aside and die cut my Neena panel with the stitched puffy cloud dies by Lawn Fawn. The center cloud was die cut with a Mama Elephant cloud die.  I added my Lucy's Little Things gems and place my panel on top with two layers of foam tape.

I added my sentiments and some Doodlebug Tiny hearts and a few solid stamps from eh Sunny Studio Sparkle stamp set.

Sunny Studio - Wedding Card

Happy Tuesday! So here is a completely different design for me today, a monochromatic wedding card featuring the gorgeous layering roses by Sunny Studio Stamps!

I decided to break out my grey Altenew Inks for this project with my roses just for fun and I really liked the way they turned out.  I die cut my roses and leaves with the accompanying dies and put them aside to work on the remainder of the card.

I chose Simon Says Smoke cardstock for the background as at complimented the roses beautifully! I also die cut a Neena panel using my Avery Elle Elle-Ments background die.

I placed the background panel and the top die cut in my stamp positioner for sentiment placement. I stamped the Best Wishes using the darkest Altenew grey ink from the four-pack (listed below). I also stamped it again with Versamark to add the sparkle embossing powder

For the secondary sentiment, I used the new Tim Holts Alcohol Ink Sparkle paper and stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx black and heat embossed it with the same sparkle embossing powder.

To finish off, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins with some of the White Dream Drops, some white hearts and a pair of wedding rings from my stash!

Simon Says: Stitches

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Stitches! The design team is featuring Art Impressions products!  It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $50 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

So, I chose these fantastic Otters by Art impressions for my card! I stamped them first and coloured them in with my Copic markers. I then die cut my banners and glued them on the lower left, once that was dry, I die cut my stitched borders on either side on my panel.

I chose the Simon Says Stamp Friend die and the Simon Says Stamp punny animal sentiments, I thought this was such a nice mix for this card.  I used Tonic Silky Sky specialty paper for the friend sentiment and I white embossed my secondary sentiment on black cardstock.

To finish off, I added some white gel pen detail and some candy hearts!

Simon Says: For a Special Lady!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: For a Special Lady! The design team is featuring Altenew products!  It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $50 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I wanted to use a color palette that I don't use often. Purple is a color that I have always struggled with but it's a color that my Mom has re-discovered, lol. So I decided to escape my comfort zone and went with a mix of purple and turquoise for this card.

I stamped and colored my flower and butterfly first with the BG family of Copics (colors listed below) and fussy cut both images as I do not have the accompanying dies.  I put those aside and started ink blending my panel using the Altenew Halftone Stencil and some Lavender ink.

I decided to stamp the leaves from the Altenew Wallpaper Art set with a darker purple-ish ink and I really liked the way it turned out! I die cut the panel with the frame from the Mama Elephant Cloud Nine dies and glued it to my card base.

I used foam tape for the flower and a mix of a small foam tape piece on the Butterfly wings and glue on the base for added dimension.

I used a sentiment also from the Avery Elle Butterfly set and stamped it on a Simon Says Stamp Brand Exclusive tag die cut from Lavender cardstock I added it with a mix of foam tape and glue to the card panel and added some twine from my stash.

To finish off the card I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and some white gel pen detail to the flower!

Simon Says: Happy Birthday!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Happy Birthday! The design team is featuring always fabulous Simon Says Stamp brand Exclusives and we are celebrating Simon Says Stamp's 10th birthday, woot!  It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $50 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I had such fun with this card, I used Simon and the Birthday numbers for my card today! I masked my number 1 so that I could offset my 0.  I then stamped my birthday hat and masked it to then stamp Simon! I coloured all of my images with my Copic markers.

I took my Altenew stencil with Delicata gold ink and blended that on the background. I then added my hearts and stamped them with Lawn Fawn Lobster ink.

I stamped a series of sentiments from the Number set in the background and gold embossed my happy birthday on Lawn Fawn Black Licorice cardstock.

I decided to add the little winky face in the centre of the 10 and finished off with some white gel pen detail! Happy Birthday Simon Says Stamp!!!
