Simon Says: Things With Wings!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week Simon Says: Things With Wings and we are featuring Memory Box products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I love crafting with butterflies! These are so pretty and have such detail - typical of Memory Box products. Also, I splurged and finally purchased the full set of Tim Holtz Watercolour pencils and this is the first time I used them. I simply took a piece of watercolour paper and drew straight lines in rainbow order then blended everything with a water brush. I then splattered black soot paint onto the panel. I die cut my butterflies and added some gold ink to the sides and set them aside.

As you know, if you follow me, I am obsessed with polka dots always have been, lol. I embossed my panel and glued my butterflies and added my Simon Says Stamp Celebrate die. To finish off, some Iridescent Clear drops!

Simon Says: Beautiful Blooms!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week Simon Says: Beautiful Blooms and we are featuring Paper Rose Studio products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

When I saw the theme for this week I had to use the beautiful Paper Rose Studio patterned paper as my inspiration.  I cut a 4.25 x 5.5 piece from the patterned paper then used my scallop frame to die cut my top panel.

I die cut these super sweet Doodlebug Flower Garden Doodle Cuts in matching colours and did some light ink blending. I put my florals together and set them aside.

I picked this beautiful Simon Says Stamp die (which I love). I glued my florals down and then glued my beautiful sentiment on top. To finish off, some Champagne Clear Drops by Pink Fresh Studio and some white gel pen detail!

Love the colour palette on this one. I started by ink blending using a Watercolour Rectangle Stencil. Once that was done I stamped my Gina K. images on the ink blended area. I then stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set.

I added some coloured pencil detail to the leaves and flower for more dimension. To finish off some matching drops!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I decided to use colours that I rarely use for my card today. I like to try and stretch my mind set, lol! I stamped the floral image and coloured it in with my COPICS. I then added my Honey Bee Follow that Star stencil in the same colours, I wanted a little more on the background.  I then die cut my panel using one of my favourite Simon Says Stamp dies.

I stamped and embossed my Honey Bee sentiment from the You've Got a Friend stamp and die set on matching card stock. I added it using foam tape to my panel. To finish off, some Pink Fresh Studio Lavender gems!

Simon Says: Patterned Paper!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week Simon Says: Patterned Paper and we are featuring always super fun Doodlebug products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Spring Flowers! This time of year is so long! Spring in Montreal is winter one day, spring the next then summer for a few hours and possibly back to snow! Waiting patiently for the calmer weather! This card was fun to make. I used the new Simon Says Stamp Wiggle Flowers 3D embossing folder and then decided to pair it with the Simon Says Stamp Etched Primrose Blooms flower.

I die cut a tag from the Doodlebud Plaid-Polka Dot 6x6 paper pack in the teal and the flower centre from the polka dot.

I added the tag and the flower and leaves to the panel using a mix of glue and foam tape. I used a fun sentiment by Pink Fresh Studio and to finish off, some enamel hearts by Doodlebug! Check out the challenge blog for links to products used!

Simon Says: Sweet Treats!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week Simon Says: Sweet Treats and we are featuring always super fun Lawn Fawn roducts - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

This was a fun spring card to put together! I started by colouring the images I picked for this easter card from a few Lawn Fawn sets and used the accompanying die cuts. I decided on the soft pink card stock from the 6x6 watercolour paper pack for my background panel.

I decided to add some inking to the panel using my Lawn Fawn splatter background in a matching pink ink.

I white embossed my Happy sentiment on black Lawn Fawn Licorice card stock and then placed all of my images on the panel and glued them with a mix of glue and foam tape. I then stamped my easter sentiment. To finish off, some white gel pen detail and my favorite iridescent gems!

These two products were a natural pairing, I love confetti. I ink blended my panel using my Simon Says Stamp Confetti stencil with rainbow colours and set it aside to work on my sentiment.

I die cut the sentiment from black card stock and black fun foam and glued it together. I also die cut the sentiment from gold specialty card stock.

I glued my sentiment to the panel and then glued the gold confetti from the second die that I cut. I also added some clay confetti in rainbow colours and finished with white gel pen detail on the black sentiment!
