Runway Inspired Challenge # 48

This inspiration photo for the Runway Inspired Challenge made me feel like it was the month of June! Oooo can't wait for that and winter has just begun! Sniff, sniff!  Okay, at least it makes me think of good things to come! I was inspired by the pastel colours along with the flowers and the punch of black.

Products used:

My Favorite Things - Roses, Papertrey Ink sentiment
Clear embossing powder Zing (later ironed off)
Distress inks in Antique Linen, Spun Sugar and a bit of Worn Lipstick
Memories black
Perfect Pearls on the roses, can't see it that well but what a nice shimmer
Embossed rectangle Lawn Fawn die cut

Thanks for taking the time!

Hero Arts Christmas - A Few of My Favorite Things

Here is a set I made using the Archivers/Hero Arts stamp and die set with lots 'o glitter, as a matter of fact my dog Duffy is still wearing the glitter! I am submitting these under "A few of my favourite things". The stamping on glitter technique is one of my favourites for the holidays.

Hero Arts Archivers Stamp and Cut ornaments
Hero Arts and Sizzix embossing folder
Inks Hero Arts - Red Royal, Navy, Cornflower, Tide Pool, Green Hills and Charcoal
Pearls and gems all HA mixed accents - Blush, Foliage, Sea and Neutral
Sentiments Papertrey Ink
Again, lots 'o glitter!

To make the ornaments I used double sided tape sheets. Glued one side to thin plain white card stock, die cut the ornaments then removed the tape covering from the top part and glittered the surface.  Sprayed with glue to hold the glitter in-place.  This is from a tutorial I saw on Barb Engler's blog last year (see link here).

Thanks for taking the time!
