I fell in love with this Floral Flutter Cling Stamp by Stampendous the minute I saw it. I love the scale and the colouring real-estate on this stamp.

I stamped and gold embossed the butterfly to use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut my image and set it aside to work on the background panel.

I used a piece of Lawn Fawn Watercolor 6x6 paper and white embossed the Simon Says Stamp Friendship 6x6 Cling Stamp.

I decided to used the Simon Says Stamp friend die (one of my favorite Simon Says die sets). I die cut the background in Tonic Sugar Crystal Glitter paper and the top die in lavender colored card stock.

I glued my butterfly with foam tape and added my friend die with glue.  I added the secondary sentiment by Lawn Fawn on Black Licorice card stock.

To finish off, these amazing matte gold pearls by Pink Fresh Studio!

Simon Says: Rain or Shine

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Rain or Shine! We are featuring always super fun Sunny Studio products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I can't wait for summer! I had to chose the shine option for the Challenge this week. As I write this post, we are seeing a rare April snow storm in Montreal... Yes, you read that right, lol.

I started by ink blending the entire background panel with a light hand and then went back over with my MFT stencil with a heavier hand, once I was done I decided to add my favourite Tonic Moonstone glitter paste and set it aside to dry.

I coloured and fussy cut my images and added some black and white gel pen detail.  I die cut my Sunny Studio Sparkle die and white embossed my accompanying sentiments (from the same set linked below).

Once my panel was completely dry, I added my images using a mix of foam tape and glue.

To finish off, some Studio Katia iridescent sequins and I decided that my sun needed a Lawn Fawn happy face, exactly how I feel over summer!

Simon Says Stamp Happy and Joyful Release!

The new Simon Says Stamp Happy and Joyful release is live! There are some amazing products in this release!

I played with the Thankful Magnolia 6x8 stamp set for my card today :)

I don't usually use yellow but it's the colour I thought of right away when I saw this gorgeous magnolia.

I gold embossed my flower on Bristol smooth card stock so that I could use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. They are so amazing with this paper, they just glide.

I die cut my panel once I finished colouring my flower and decided that a strip of graphic black and white stripe would give such a nice pop to the yellow flower.

I then chose this super fun older Simon Says Stamp die set and used Tonic black glitter card stock and glued it to my panel.

To finish off, some Studio Katia gems which are subtle but give a nice finish!

Thanks so much for taking the time, go check out the release!

Simon Says: Interactive

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Interactive! We are, of course, featuring always amazing Lawn Fawn products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I don't actually give Easter cards but I have always loved making them especially using Lawn Fawn products. My favourite Interactive die set by Lawn Fawn is the Reveal Wheel, so much fun to play with.

I die cut my Neena white card stock using the reveal wheel components and used my well-loved MFT cloud stencil and slope stencil with Distress Oxide Inks. Set that aside and took out my Lawn Fawn Eggstra Special Easter stamp and die set, I love these bunnies and chicks. I coloured them in using my Copic Markers and die cut them.

I added my images to the panel using both foam tape and Lawn Fawn glue. I then chose my Gingham paper for my background and die cut the panel. I added both panels to my card base and added the secondary sentiments. To finish off, some candy hearts from my stash!

Simon Says: Happy Birthday!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Happy Birthday because it's Simon Says Stamps 13th birthday! We are, of course, featuring always amazing Simon Says Stamp exclusive brand products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

The April card kit is so full of birthday fun! The majority of cards I make are for birthdays, so this one is right up my alley!  I love the Balloon Trio dies from the kit (you can always buy the components of these kits on their own).

I chose one of the fun pattern papers and die cut my balloons to match. I also die the cut the "highlights" with gold Tonic card stock. This card was simple to put together and a lot of fun.

Once I glued my balloons I cut the excess paper and added some twine from my stash with a little glue to manipulate the twine to go where I wanted.  I let it dry and die cut my birthday sentiment from Tonic black glitter card stock and fun foam then glue it to my panel. I then added it to my Slimline card base!
