I love making Halloween projects, something so fun about the whimsical feel.  I took out some of my favorite oldies but goodies by Lawn Fawn for this card.

The Happy Haunting hunted house is my go-to every year. I LOVE this set. I paired it with a Hello Bluebird scene die set that I die cut from Black and Dark Grey cardstock.

I ink blended my background using Distress Inks (listed below) and added water for texture using my Distress Sprayer and set is aside to dry.

I colored in my images using my Copic Markers and used the accompanying dies. I decided to add some stencilling to my background with some white paste and I stamped some bats also by Lawn Fawn directly to the panel.

I put all of my elements of the panel using a mix of foam tape and glue, I then added some white gel pen detail and glossy accents to the windows. I then used some Orange Tinsel embossing powder by Ranger for my sentiment and added it to the card.

LDRS Christmas Deer!

Happy Monday crafty friends! Sharing a card using products from the AMAZING new LDRS release coming later this week :)

I love non-traditional colors for Christmas cards, the inspiration for this card was the amazing new 6 x 6 Mackenzie Christmas pack. The pink in between the black diamonds on my pattern paper was my starting point.

I stamped and die cut my images from the new Snow Deer to Me stamp set, I colored the snow globe base and die some pink ink blending on my snow globe background.

I set them aside and used the new Peppermint Stencil to do some selective ink blending on my panel using the same pink inks.  I trimmed down my panel and glued all of my elements and then stamped my Merry Christmas from the new Elegant Holiday Wishes stamp set.

I added my strips of pattern paper to the card base and glued my panel using   Fun Foam for dimension. To finish off, I added some glitter to the snow and the top of the tree and some jewels from my stash.

Look for the new release later this week, it is simply amazing! Thanks for taking the time and have a great week! My pattern paper was my inspiration and starting point, I LOVE this pattern paper from the Hello 6 x 6 paper pack by Doodle bug so much that I hoarded it, lol! I decided to pair it with this super fun Simon Says Stamp Birthday Treat Stamp Set because the polka dot hat paired super well with my paper.

I started by stamping my pig and coloring her in with my Copics, embossed my sentiment with Navy Embossing powder.  I then used my trusty stitched scallop border die by My Favorite Things.

I added my pattern paper to my card base and added my panel using fun foam. I finished off with some Doodlebug Sprinkles and some white gel pen detail.

Glimmering Butterflies

Happy Friday crafty friends! Still playing with my Spellbinders Glimmer machine!

I ordered more foil transfer letterpress by Spellbinders and they came this week. I couldn't wait to play with them.  I used a hologram type silver foil on my butterflies and used the accompanying die cuts.

For my background, I used a Hero Arts stencil and a mix of Nuvo Embellishment Mouse and Nuvo Glacier Paste in colors matching my cardstock.

Once everything was dry, I added my elements and then used one of the Everyday Sentiments 2 with turquoise foil. I added the flowers found in the butterfly set to frame the sentiment strip. Finished off with the fashion silver foil drops.

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I used my Glimmer Foil machine by Spellbinders for both cards today.  I love this machine and the foil effect it gives, I have since ordered some more fun products for it like sentiments and smaller foil plates. for both my projects, I started by foiling my backgrounds using both the Rose Gold and Gold foil.

I used Lawn Fawn Apricot Cardstock for this one and once the foiling was done, I added some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide to the edges.

I chose the CZ Design by Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday die for this one and paired it with some Lawn Fawn flowers and butterfly dies all die cut from a mix of Lawn Fawn cardstocks and Simon Says Stamp glitter paper.

Once all of my elements were placed on the panel, I added some Fashion Gold and Icy Crystal Gems.

I used Vanilla Malt cardstock by Lawn Fawn for this one and the flat gold glitter foil. I added the Pink Fresh gold die cuts to the corners and the Simon Says Stamp Celebrate die.

Both of these cards were super easy to put together.

I finished this one off using the same Fashion Gold gems and the hearts are from the Simon Says Stamp Sending Smiles die.

Simon Says: Humorous/Fun!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Humourous/Fun! We are featuring super fun Riley and Company products!!! It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Full disclosure, I usually get criticized when I make cards that feature alcohol. I need to admit that it bothers me, I am half French Canadian and we have never had nor were we raised to have a problem with people enjoying a glass of wine.  So, I won't stop making these types of cards because they make me and my loved ones laugh.

I chose the Riley and Company Funny Bones May Your Birthday Be Filled With Joy.... and Alcohol sentiment.  I paired it with My Favorite Things Cocktail Glass and Bow dies.

I am so enjoying Slimline cards so I chose an older Studio Katia die and did some partial die cutting on the bottom of four pieces of cardstock.

I took my Neena Solar White top panel and gold embossed the first part of my sentiment. I then took a piece of coloured cardstock and white embossed the second and funny part of the sentiment.

I die cut my cocktail glass from both Neena and coloured cardstock and used some Distress Ink for the cocktail and Copic Markers for the "glass" shading.

I put everything together and added my cocktail with foam tape, added glossy accents to the glass. To finish off, I added white gel pen detail to the glass and some Studio Katia Icy Sparkle Crystals.

Simon Says: Stamp It!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Stamp It! In honour of the always amazing STAMPtember we are, of course, featuring Simon Says Stamp brand products, woot!!! It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I had such fun playing with the new Chunky Christmas set by Simon Says Stamp and CZDesign.  It has so many options, great bold sentiments and smaller accompanying ones. Modern trees and some holly.

I paired my Joy sentiment with a Simon Says Stamp Gnome and added a funny (to me) secondary sentiment from the same set. I started by stamping and coloring my Joy sentiment and die cutting my elements for the Gnome.

Once that was done, I chose this background by Picket Fence studios and embossed it using Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold embossing powder.

I trimmed the panel down and picked some pattern paper from the same pack as my gnome and added it to the card base. I placed my elements on the panel and added it to the card base using foam tape.

I felt there was something missing so I stamped and cut the smaller holly piece from the Chunky Christmas set and added it to his hat.

To finish off, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Christmas Mix sequins, a heart to the gnome and a green jingle bell for fun!
