Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Hero Arts!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always amazing Hero Arts products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I just love these Candy Canes by Hero Arts, I had so much fun I decided to make two in different colors. I started by die cutting all of my paper elements for the candy canes and sentiment and put them together and set them aside to dry.

I die cut both panels first using an older MFT border die and then used two different Simon Says Stamp 3D Embossing folders.

I picked coordinating patterned papers and glued a strip to each card base. I added the top panel using foam tape and placed my die cut images. To finish off, various gems.

Simon Says: Use a Background Stamp!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Use a Background Stamp and we are featuring always amazing Tim Holtz products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

My Distress Inks are my most used crafty supplies by far! This week, I decided to go full-on fall Jewel Tones for my background and I am so happy with the way it turned out.

I started by stamping and gold embossing my Simon Says Stamp Talavera Vine 6x6 background stamp. I ink blended my Distress Inks (all linked below). I set my panel aside and die cut my Awesome die from both black glitter card stock and white card stock for a shadow effect.

I then die cut my Budding Branches also by Simon Says Stamp using cold card stock and glued them to the panel and gluing the Awesome die on top. I then white embossed my top sentiment.

To finish off, my favourite iridescent gems!

Simon Says: Make It Cute!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Make it Cute and we are featuring always super fun Lawn Fawn products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I love making halloween projects and this Fangtastic Friends stamp set by Lawn Fawn is so much fun! I started by masking my moon and ink blending my background. I the added some Distress paint and some water for added effect.

I coloured and die cut my bats and branches and used the accompanying die cuts. Once my panel was dry, I stamped the spider and coloured him in. I glued my elements to the panel using a mix of foam tape and glue.  To finish off I added some gold die cut stars.

I then embossed both butterflies and added some Gilded Foundry Wax to the butterflies using my fingers and set them aside to dry.

I then took my panel and gold embossed my flowers from the Sketched Flowers stamp set (one of my favourites from Simon Says Stamp). I then stamped my sentiment from the Best Year Yet stamp set.

I then added my Butterflies using foam tape for dimension. To finish off, some of my absolute favourite Iridescent gems.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember blog party!

Happy Saturday crafty friends! So happy to be taking part in the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember blog party!

I love STAMPtember, such a wonderful month over at Simon Says Stamp! So many promotions this weekend too, check it out!

I am sharing two cards today featuring the some of the new products. My first card above features the super cute Magical Crafting clear stamps and dies. I started by stamping and colouring my images and using the accompanying dies. I then 3D embossed my background panel.

I stamped my smaller sentiment from the same set and paired if with my favourite Friend die and added all of my elements using a mix of foam tape and glue.

For this one, (I love a CAS card) I used one of the beautiful Floral Borders in the stencil of three different borders. I really loved the sentiments from the Retro Wishes stamp set, I felt the font and boldness worked with the soft stencilling. To finish off, my favourite iridescent gems.
