I love these new 3D embossing folders by Simon Says Stamp! This Magnolia Branches folder is from the last Simon Says Stamp release and I was so anxious to use it!

I use the Spellbinder Platinum 9 for these and I use two piece of cardstock and a shim for best results. I colored my panel using Copic Markers (colors listed below).

I chose this gorgeous You Shine Wafer Die (also from the last release)for my sentiment and die cut it from Sugar Crystal and Harvest Gold Tonic card stocks (hands down the two I use the most. I added the sentiment to the panel using foam tape to secure the Shine insert and for added dimension.

To finish off all I added some Studio Katia Iridescent sequins.

Simon Says: Use Dies and/or Punches!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Use Dies and/or Punches and we are featuring some Memory Box products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

So, the scale of this die is smaller than I had anticipated when I ordered it but I LOVE it! I was able to make custom smaller cards (3.25 x 4.5) to accommodate the smaller scale of this Verdant Leaf Collage Die. I used a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Die for my background pattern papers.

For the card above, I used a new Honey Bee pastel 6x6 pattern paper and added my Memory Box die with some fun foam for dimension.  I chose a Simon Says Stamp stamp set for all the sentiments and stamped them in coordinating ink colors.

The next two were made in exactly the same way also using fun foam for the leaf die but I used ModaScrap pattern paper. I love the softness of the ModaScrap papers.

To finish off all three note cards, I added some coordinating sequins. I am so happy with the way they turned out!

Simon Says: Stencil It!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Stencil It and we are featuring some amazing Pink Fresh Studio products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

These two cards were so quick and fun to put together, you gotta love a good stencil! I started by making the pink, coral and yellow card and I liked it so much I made the second blue and green version.

I stencilled my background first using the less detailed plaid then going over with the second stencil in the same colors with a little heavier ink blending.

I chose the beautiful die (I just love this font) and die cut it from my Tonic specialty paper (listed below) and some fun foam for dimension. I glued them together and added them to the panels. I added a smaller Friend sentiment from one of my Lawn Fawn sets to both panels.

I felt both cards needed a little something more and I had these Simon Says Stamp leaves on my desk (I love these dies and I have used them a lot lately) so I die cut them and trimmed them to suit the designs.

To finish off, I used two different sequin mixes (listed below). I am super happy with the way they turned out, come join the fun!

Hope Your Birthday is Flippin' Fabulous!

Happy Monday crafty friends! Anyone else as anxious for summer fun? This card was such fun to put together and it features all Honey Bee Stamps products and some super fun Hero Arts beach texture embossing powder.

I started by choosing my pattern paper for the flip flops and die cut my elements and put them together with fun foam. I then chose my Distress Oxides for the background (listed below) and my Distress Paint for added texture (also listed below) and put the panel aside to dry.

I used some super fun Hero Arts beach texture embossing powder and embossed it twice on some Neena Solar White. I then stamped (very carefully) my sentiments on top of the beach texture embossing powder and used my Ranger Black Sparkle embossing powder for the sentiments. I used the accompanying die cut for one and trimmed the second.

I felt I was missing some elements so I stamped and colored my shells using Copics and the same Hero Arts embossing powder.

I added all of my elements to the panel and to fill the "empty" areas added some clay flowers!

Thanks so much for taking the time! Products used are listed and linked below, affiliate links used at no extra cost to you! Have a great week!

Simon Says: For A Special Lady

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: For a Special Lady and we are featuring Stampendous products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I used this color scheme in one of my cards last week and I liked it so much that I used the same three ink colors to emphasize this amazing Cling Slim Birthday Words Background Stamp. I stamped and gold embossed the cling stamp and did some ink blending.

Once that was complete I added some Copic markers in complimentary colors to a select amount of words to offset the background.

I die cut my balloon from some Tonic purple specialty card stock and added it to the top left of my panel and cut the excess.  I chose some yellow twine from my stash and glued the string to my panel.

I absolutely had to use this amazing new sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle release and die cut that from Tonic Harverst Gold and some Lawn Fawn Black Licorice cardstock and added it to the panel using foam tape.

To finish off, I added a variety of sequins and clay hearts from my stash. I love how fun and colourful it is!
