You Are an Amazing Person!

Happy Monday crafty friends! I am sharing floral card this morning. Yes, different from holiday themed but I wanted to color and I needed some happy flowers! Always nice to take a break from the mountain of holiday cards we, as crafters create!

I love this bouquet called Crazy for Daisies stamp and the accompanying die set. I felt like some calming coloring and this did the trick!

Once the image was complete, I trimmed my panel to A2 sized and used the die on the floral. I love this die, it cuts certain petals so you can lift them for dimension.

I chose the sentiment from the Encouragement Stack stamp set and used the Sentiment Stack coordinating dies. These stacks are such fun, you stamp the sentiments and die cut them to have 11 sentiments to chose from. Excellent to put them aside and you always have to chose from on another project! Super practical.

To finish off, I added some sequins and some white gel pen detail for added dimension.

I hope you are all have a happy, healthy and restful holiday! Have a great week and Happy New Year!

Simon Says: Sparkle and Shine!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Sparkle and Shine! We are featuring Whimsy Stamps products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I am in love with this Comic Book Cover cling stamp by Whimsy Stamps! So much fun and you can interchange your "cartoon" character for the centre of the panel.

This was actually very simple all it took was stamping and some Copic coloring. I used my stamp platform and stamped the cover, I then used a PostIt note to mask the bottom so that I could stamp my Ninja (MFT).

I took out some primary colored Copic markers and just had some fun :) I added some grey shading to the image and then blended some Smoke Grey ink by Simon Says Stamp to the edges.

Once that was done, I added some Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Confetti to the words "Comics" and "Spectacular" and some Tonic Honey Gold Glitter Drops to the Ninjas "tools".

Simon Says: Christmas Critters!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Christmas Critters! We are featuring always amazing Mama Elephant products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I do love a good critter card, especially for the holidays! I used the new Snow Much Fun stamp and die set by Mama Elephant.  I started by stamping and coloring my images and used the accompanying dies

I established the color scheme with the critter accessories and used my Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Oxide Ink for the background and set it aside to dry.

I die cut my snow hills and sentiments using Tonic specialty paper and I die cut my panel using an LDRS stitched panel die.

I added my snow using the slimline Simon Says Stamp falling snow stencil and some texture paste. Once that was dry, I put all of my elements on the card base.

To finish off I added black and white gel pen detail and a pink pom pom to the snow person's hat!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Let it Snow! We are featuring always super fun Lawn Fawn products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I mean seriously could these Mice on Ice by Lawn Fawn be any cuter?!?  I purchased this set last year and have been so anxious to ink it up. I stamped a bunch of the Mice and colored them with my COPIC markers and used the accompanying dies.

I used a snowy clear stamp also by Lawn Fawn from an older release and white embossed it on my panel and then ink blended some Salty Ocean and a bit of Blueprint Sketch and die cut my panel using the largest LF Stitched Rectangle die.

I also die cut my "snow" hills using first the same rectangle die and then two of the snowy borders with some Sugar Crystal Tonic glitter paper.

I die cut the Joyful from the Mice on Ice die set with red glitter cardstock and added the secondary sentiment stamped with Lawn Fawn red ink. To finish off I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.

Simon Says stamp DieCember blog hop Day 2!

Happy Thursday crafty friends! I am super excited to be participating in Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp DieCember  blog hop! I am the last stop on the hop, you would have arrive here from the amazing Kath Stewart

Simon Says stamp is generously giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop! Simply leave a comment to be entered!  Simon Says Stamp will post the winners their blog on Wednesday, the 9th of December!

I don't know about you, but dies are an obsession with me. They have simplified the way I approach card making in an amazing way.

I used three amazing new products on this New Years set from the DieCember release - Champagne Flutes, Dainty Snowflake and the Detail Bohemian Plate.

The background plate is particularly fun, the detail on it is amazing that's what inspired the use of the Tim Holtz Ideology Metallic Confections paper - it really showcases the amazing detail. I die cut two different colors of the metallics and die cut the darker one with a tag die to make this set.

I die cut my flutes twice (there is a larger and a smaller flute in the set) to use two flutes of the same size on the card and the smaller other flutes set on the tag. I coloured my champagne and glass using my Copic Markers (colors listed below) and added some Crystal Glaze and set them aside to dry.

I die cut my snowflakes from different coloured but complimentary colours to the backgrounds from the Simon Says Stamp glitter pack (also listed below) and the background snowflake on the card from vellum.

Once the flutes were dry, I die cut some glitter "bubbles" and added them to the flutes along with white gel pen detail.

I added all of my elements to the card and tag using a mix of foam tape and wet glue.  I added my Happy New Year from a Simon Says Stamp set from last year, the Critter Sweater stamp set.

It's DieCember over at Simon Says Stamp! I love DieCember :) I got to play with a few of the new products and for today's Challenge post I chose the new Be Kind Dies paired with a slimline stencil from the last Simon Says Stamp Release.

I trimmed my Neena Solar White panel to size and used Mega Wrap Stripes stencil using a mix of Distress Inks.  I then chose some glitter paper from my stash in coordinating colors and die cut my elements.

I glued the Be Kind using foam tape and added the glitter hearts also with foam tape.

To finish off, I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and some candy hearts. Really quick and fun card to put together.

It's DieCember!

I can't believe it's already December 1! That means it is also the first day of Simon Says Stamp annual DieCember release!

So many amazing products in this release! My cards today feature the Be Kind Dies by CZ Design and Simon Says Stamp as well as the Dainty Snowflake dies and the super fun Detail Bohemian Plate.

I decided to use the amazing 3D embossing folder from the last Simon Says Stamp release with the Be Kind dies.  I embossed my Neena panel and added some Fog Gray Simon Says Stamp ink to outline the white daisies. I then added some Copic dot detail to the flower centres.

I die cut my Be Kind from Icy Crystal Tonic Glitter paper and some yellow cardstock. I ink blended a little Mustard Seed Distress Ink to the yellow panel for added dimension.

I placed my dies on the panel using foam tape and die cut the heart from the same die set from red glitter paper and decided to add a mini Bee from my stash.

For my second card, I chose some Tonic pearlescent paper and used the Detail Bohemian Plate. I also used the Dainty Snowflake die cut from Icy Crystal glitter paper and an older Simon Says Stamp snowflake from Turquoise glitter paper also by Tonic. Put my elements together and added a sentiment from the Tiny Words Christmas set also by Simon Says Stamp and then chose some gems from my stash.
