Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Newton's Nook

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always fun Newton's Nook products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

This card was such fun to put together, it is actually meant for a new baby girl in our family so it was doubly special.  I started by ink blending both my Bokeh Stencils by Newton's nook onto my background panel.

I then die cut my Onesie's and Honey Bee sentiment from some patterned paper from my stash and some Tonic Sugar Crystal card stock and glued them together.

I added this older heart circle die in the background by Avery Elle and then added my onesie's and sentiment using foam tape.

To finish off, some super fun white clay hearts and white gel pen detail!

Simon Says Stamp Kisses Release Blog Hop Day 2!

Happy Saturday crafty Friends! Super excited to be taking part in the Simon Says Stamp Kisses Release Blog Hop Day 2!

The code in the graphic above will give yo access to this amazing free 3x4 stamp set while supplies last!

Also, Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop for one comment picked from all the comments left here! Winners will be posted on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday the 25th of January.

I love the flowers and sentiments from the new Swoopy Flowers stamp set, so I really wanted to use this set for my card today.  I used Versafine to stamp my images and then gold embossed them.  I coloured them using my COPIC markers and fussy cut them (the die cuts are for sure on my shopping list, this is a set I will use often) and set them aside to work on the rest of my elements.

I decided to use this amazing Simon Says Stamp Spun Glass embossing folder from the prior Hugs release. I die cut my panel first using My A2 Marquee Dies (the largest) and them embossed my background. I then used two oval dies for my flower oval "frame" and glued it to the centre of the panel. I lined up and glued my flowers and leaves using a mix of glue and foam tape.

I stamped and white embossed my sentiments from the same stamp set and added them to the panel using foam tape. To finish off, some Pink Fresh Studio Glitter Drops in Champagne!

Simon Says: Fabulous Flowers!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Fabulous Flowers and we are featuring super fun Waffle Flower products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Such fun making this card, these are all newly acquired products that I have not used yet! I started by die cutting my Waffle Flower Abstract Flowers and ink blending my elements. I put the flower pieces together using a mix of low profile and high profile foam squares and added some black gel pen detail.

I chose this Honey Bee Woodgrain paper for my background panel and glued my flower to the panel. I then used this new Simon Says Stamp sentiment stamp and added it to my panel using my Misti for precision.

To finish off, I wanted to add this wax seal. I added gold twine from my stash and glued the seal on top to the left of the card and some Studio Katia Gold Pearls!

Simon Says: Too Cute!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and best wishes for the new year!

This week Simon Says: Too Cute and we are featuring always super fun Lawn Fawn products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I have always loved Lawn Fawn Hearts and Stars. Both stamps and dies and I was cleaning out my stash over the break and came upon this super sweet So Jelly stamp set and decided to stamp the stars and color them in using rainbow COPIC markers. I used the accompanying die and set them aside to work on the background.

I decided to use my Outside In Stitched Stars also my Lawn Fawn and die cut a series of white stars and placed them on my panel using foam tape and cut the excess off.  I lined up my stars in a circular pattern.

I stamped and white embossed my sentiment from the same stamp set and then used the Honey Bee Friend Bitty Buzz word die. To finish off, some Memory Box Fairy Jewels.

Simon Says: Something New!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and best wishes for the new year!

This week Simon Says: Something New and we are featuring Studio Light products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

So, Christmas is my favourite time of year. From mid-November to January 1 I am happier than a kid in a candy store. Once January 1 hits (FYI, I live in snowy Montreal) I start looking forward to summer, lol! So this Dolphin Cocktail stamp set is so appropriate for me this time of year.

The scale of the stamp set is quite large, therefore simply the martini glass and sentiment took the panel front making this a relatively quick card! I stamped my images and used my trusty COPIC markers.

I die cut my panel using a discontinued older MFT die and then ink blended some Salvaged Patina Distress Ink. To finish off, some of my favourite Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins.
