Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Lawn Fawn!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always super fun Lawn Fawn products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I just received the Lawn Fawn Hearts stencil and I just had to ink it up! I made two different cards for this week using the fun two-step stencil and a mix of Distress Inks for the rainbow and two different Oxide colors for the Apricot card below.

I used Rainbow Distress Inks for this card and die cut my panel with a Stitched Rectangle die and set it aside to die cut my elements.

I die cut my hugs die using Balck Licorice card stock and black fun foam and I chose some felt from my stash and die cut using my trusty Lawn Fawn heart dies.

I added my elements to the panel and added some glossy accents to the Hugs die. Once that was dry, I added my panel to the card base and finished it off with some gold foil pearls.

Same steps for this one, butI used Lawn Fawn Apricot card stock and Oxide Inks for this one.  I decided to add these cute hugging mice to the card and coloured them using my COPIC markers.

I used the same Hugs die but with Tonic Fire Stone card stock, I am in love with the red of this paper. I place my elements to the panel using fun foam and foam tape.

I decided to add a sending sentiment to this one from the same Lawn Fawn Stamp set using foam tape and finished it off with the same gold foil pearls :)

Simon Says: Four Legged Friends!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Four Legged Friends and we are featuring Penny Black products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

This Penny Black stamp is actually a Christmas stamp that I never had the chance to ink up this year. To adapt it to a Valentine's Day theme, I simply masked the holly along the sides of the mailbox and stamped my image.

Quite obviously colored my critterst with traditional Valentine's Day colors using my COPIC markers. I then used my Simon Says Stamp falling hearts stencil and did some light ink blending.

My sentiment is also from Simon Says Stamp - Ornate Love clear stamp set. To finish off, I added some various hearts all over my panel and some white gel pen detail to my critters.

Simon Says: Fun With Stencils!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Fun With Stencils and we are featuring always amazing Tim Holtz products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

There is nothing I love more than using Tim Holtz Distress Inks with a good stencil! I used obviously a rainbow array of my Distress Inks for my panel and a new Penguin Palace stencil called Ripple Tide.

I ink blended one layer and decided to offset it and ink blend it a second time and I like the effect it has given.

I die cut my panel and then I chose the top layer of this amazing Simon Says Stamp Just Because sentiment.  I die cut it using Tonic Black Glitter card stock and added it to the panel with glue.

To finish off, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and a purple clay heart. Simple card to put together but fun to make!

Simon Says: Something New!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Something New and we are featuring super fun The Rabbit Hole Designs products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I just love my Glimmer Foil Machine and thought this was perfect for this weeks challenge Something New. I paired my new The Rabbit Hole Hello Hot Foil Plate with the new Sketched Rose Blossom and Leaves foil and cut die set from the latest Simon Says Stamp release.

I foiled my sentiment first and die cut my panel and set it aside. I decided to go tone on tone for the flowers and leaves. Not sure why I chose purple not my favourite color but I liked the differences in the shades.

I added selective splatter to my panel with some Distress Paint and then added my foliage with a mix of glue and foam tape.

To finish off, I added some Gold Foil Gems and a purple candy heart. I added my panel to the card base using fun foam!

You're The Best!

Happy New Year! I can't believe we are 2022. The last 22-months has been very difficult on all of us, I am not sure if the years seem to drag or fly by!

I have been off the grid over the last few weeks, we are facing another strict lockdown with a curfew here in Québec (not sure why we have another curfew...) The holidays have been once again just my husband, dogs and I. No family or friends allowed. But, on a super fun note meet Mozzie!

We lost our beautiful 14 year-old Golden in early October and our Springer Duffy was a little lost and to be honest so were we.  So this little dude was my Christmas present and we are over the moon. He is so smart and sweet. I named him after my favorite character from the TV Show White Collar. The character of Mozzie was portrayed by Willie Garson who sadly passed away in September.

On to crafting! I got to play with some super fun and amazing new Simon Says Stamp products for this card :)

I needed to emboss this panel, the Simon Says Stamp 3D embossing folders are fierce, I love them. I then die cut my Butterfly from rainbow holographic paper and some Tonic Black Glitter.

I put my butterfly together and set is aside so the glue could dry properly. I used the You're The Best Sentiment released last fall with White and Black Tonic Glitter paper and glued it to the panel. I then added my butterfly using a small piece of foam tape.

I added my panel to the card base and to finish off, added some Pretty Pink Posh Gems!

Thanks so much for taking the time, wishing you all the best for 2022.
