Simon Says: Anything Goes

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always amazing My Favorite Things products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love Stitched anything with dies so these MFT flowers are always such fun to play with. I die cut my flowers and leaves first then chose inks in similar colors for my stencilling. I added some embossing to all sides of my panel for added dimension.

I used the Pink Fresh Plaid stencil and used selective stencilling. I lined up my flowers and leaves and added some with foam tape and some glued to the surface.

I die cut my You Shine sentiment and added it also using foam tape to the panel.

To finish off, I added sequins in matching colors from my stash!

Simon Says: Add a Sentiment

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Add a Sentiment and we are featuring Clearly Besotted products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love this stamp set by Clearly Besotted! These birds are the sweetest! I started by stamping and colouring my Birds from the Some Birdie Loves You stamp set with my COPIC markers.

I then took one of my MFT Cloud stencils and added my clouds using Salvaged Patina Distress Inks. I didn't mask my birds, it was light ink blending and the birds were easy to avoid.

I die cut my panel using a Lawn Fawn stitched border die and cut the excess off. I trimmed a piece of this amazing Honey Bee pastel pattern paper and added it to my card base.

I then added my panel with fun foam to the card base.  I white embossed my sentiment from the same stamp set and die cut it with a banner die.  I chose the small Honey Bee Friends Buzzword dies and then added them both to the panel.

To finish off, I added some White gel pen detail and some clay hearts by Buttons Galore!

Simon Says: Funny/Punny

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Funny/Punny and we are featuring super fun Riley and Company products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

So my best guy friend turns 50 this month! We have known each other since he was 19 (I am a lot younger, lol) and he clearly needs a punny card so this weeks challenge was perfect!

I paired my Riley and Company sentiment with this Toad from the August Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. This is the sweetest kit, I love it!

The toad and the crown were ideal so I stamped my images and colored them in with my COPIC markers and fussy cut them. I chose the Simon Says Stamp Steamer Stencil for my background with a mix of green and blue inks.

I then die cut the Simon Says Stamp Friend die from Tonic specialty papers. I lined up my elements and stamped my Riley and Company cling stamp using my stamp positioner.

I added my elements on top using foam tape for dimension. To finish off, I added some Studio Katia Clay Hearts and some white gel pen detail!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #106 Sketch

August already! Time flies but clearly a lot faster during a global pandemic! I have not submitted to a challenge in years! I thought it would be fun to use some of my newer Lawn Fawn products that haven't been stamped yet and submit it to the current Lawn Fawnatics Card Sketch Challenge.

I have a hard time with card sketches usually, I like to be able to just design my own and go with the flow but I liked the sketch and it made me think of the pattern paper that I used from the Really Rainbow 6 x 6 paper pack. It is an older pack but still one of my favourites.

I really wanted to use my Happy Hugs set, this has been a tough year for all of us and missing loved ones has been hard. So these cuties make me smile.

I stamped and coloured them with my COPIC markers and used the accompanying die cut.

I trimmed my pattern paper and laid it on top of my panel and die cut them together with a Stitched Rectangle die. I then used one of my Lawn Fawns Stitched Border dies on the side of the rainbow paper.

I added it to my panel using fun foam, I then die cut my clouds and added them to the panel. I die cut my Hugs die from Black Licorice and black fun foam added it to the panel and topped it off with glossy accents for shine.

I placed all of my elements on the panel and finished off with some sequins from my stash and some white gel pen detail.

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Summertime Blues and we are featuring Hero Arts products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I took out some of my favorite Hero Arts products for my card today. The Sunburst Cling Stamp has always been a favorite of mine and a staple in my stash.

I started by stamping the background and then die cutting my panel and stamped and die cut my Koi fish.

I chose one of the newer XL stamp and cut sets for my Happy die cut and die cut it from some Tonic glitter paper and fun foam.

I added my fish with foam tape and glued my Happy sentiment.

I white embossed the secondary sentiment die cut it with a banner die from my stash and added it with foam tape as well. To finish off, some Hero Arts Ocean sequins and a little white gel pen detail!
