Penny Black

I made this one after seeing a Perfect Pearls tutorial.  I do love Perfect Pearls but I always used it as a "dry" glitter pen.  This was done with Versamark, the butterfly just shines!  Entering this one for the Penny Black "Sending Hugs" challenge (really under the wire!)

Simon Says Stamp

I just received an order from Simon Says Stamp so I had a little time to play with my new "happy" die.

I used colics to "colour block" in back of the happy die.
I decided to enter this for this weeks Cas-ual Fridays challenge as I don't think I have ever made a card this simple.

SSS happy die
Papertrey Ink "birthday" sentiment
Lawn Fawn heart
Copics

Birthday - Twin Neices

These two are for my nieces birthday.  The Pink and Orange was inspired and a case of a card by Julie Ebersol.  I used the Dylusions sprays for the orange/pink one and Distress re-inkers mixed with water for the green/blue one.  I will definately by being more Dylusions colours, the pigment is amazing!

Stamps: Avery Elle

Sentiment: Papertrey Ink
Butterflies: Martha Stewart punch and Memory box small butterfly die

Runway Inspired Challenge #52

Did I just love the inspiration photo for this weeks Runway Inspired Challenge! It is currently -25 celsius in Montreal and it isn't looking to get warmer anytime soon! This dress made me dream, dream, dream of a beautiful summer day on a terrace in Old Montreal.  The pastel colours were my starting point and I decided to play a little with watercolour.  I am always nervous with the freehand watercolour effect but I am really pleased with the way it turned out!

Products used:

Stamp - Papertrey Ink
Distress watercolour markers - Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Mustard Seed
Mr. Huey's for the "splatters" on the background
Watercolour paper for card base and mat
Hero Arts green layering paper
Versafine Black ink

Polka dots

Who doesn't love a good polka dot! They are my favourite. I was having fun playing with glitter and two sided tape and I decided to take out my round hole punches and this came of it.

The butterflies from the Good Gab Paper Smooches set are some of my favourites and it seem to top off the card nicely.  Wink of Stella and Copics for the butterfly.  It's also anything goes at Paper Smooches Sparks so I will enter this for fun.

Thanks for taking the time!
