Simon Says: Anything Goes!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes! We are featuring Stamping Bella products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I received this super fun Stamping Bella Christmas Stamp and the Simon Says Stamp 3D embossing folder after Christmas and could not wait to play with them so I figured Anything Goes was perfect!

I started by die cutting my panel using my oval and setting the centre aside to stamp and color my image. I then embossed my outside panel using one of the fabulous new Simon Says Stamp 3D folders!

I set my panel aside and coloured my image using my trusty Copic markers, once I was finished, I felt the surround of the image needed some color so I decided to add a sky with my markers.

I added some white gel pen snow and detail on the image and decided to make my card a shaker using some snowflakes from my stash.

Once all that was put together, I added a fun sentiment by LDRS!

Simon Says: Make Your Own Background

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Make Your Own Background! We are featuring Brutus Monroe products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love this graphic stencil by Brutus Monroe, I had such fun with it that I decided to make two cards with it for this weeks challenge.

I started by ink blending on this one and shifted the stencil over as it is a slim line stencil to finish the rest of the panel. I die cut it using my LDRS Stitched Layered Card Toppers.

I added my panel to the card base using fun foam for dimension. I then die cut my Simon Says Stamp You Da Best die from Rose Gold Glitter Paper and some black to offset it for shading.

The Luv Ya was stamped using Lawn Fawn's Riley's ABCs and some Rose Gold embossing powder. I finished it off with a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins and hearts also in Rose Gold.

I just received my new (to me) Pink Fresh inks! Love them! So I chose two of the colors and ink blended my panel. I die cut it using a LDRS Slim Line Droplet Pocket Die (the outline die only).

The Happy Birthday die is also an older die by Brutus Monroe and I die cut that from a mix of Tonic Blue Glitter paper and Emerald Green Mirror cardstock.

I added the panel to the card base also with fun foam. I glued the sentiment to the panel and added some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels.

Whale Wishes!

Happy Monday crafty friends! I am over at the LDRS blog this morning sharing this Whale Wishes Slim Line this morning!

I started by die cutting my background and top panel using the new super fun Slim Line Droplet die set and cut my card base to size. Put the panels on the card base and set them aside while I worked on my other elements.

I stamped my whale and fishes both from the Whale Wishes set and coloured them then used the accompanying dies. I added them to my panel with foam tape leaving room for my sentiments.

I stamped and white embossed my sentiments then added them to the card. To finish off, I added some gel pen detail to my whale!

Have a great week! Products used listed above :)

Love You/Love you, Too Releases!

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends! Super excited to be joining Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Love You/Love You, Too blog hop! For all the amazing Day 1 project go to the Simon Says Stamp Blog here.

I played with some amazing products from the Love You release and made two slimline cards for the hop today.

For my first project I used the super fun Light Me Up 6 x 8 Stamp Set. I decided to feature the fun little candles in rainbow order. Once I colored them in I decided to do some rainbow stencilling around the candles using the Simon Says Stamp Mega Wrap Stripes Stencil.

I added some glossy accents to the candle bases and a candy heart to each of them. I stamped, embossed and fussy cut my sentiment from the same stamp set using black cardstock. To finish off, I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins.

For my second card, I used the amazing Funky Flowers stencil and in blended some Distress Inks. I then went over my flowers again (offset stencil) and traced the flowers with black marker for added dimension.

I chose the Simon Says Stamp Sending Smiles die cut for my sentiment and added it to my panel. To finish off, I added some Jewels and hearts.

Kitchen Sink Stamps are a new company to me, always love finding new fun stamps to play with!  I started by stamping my snowman with the three different layers using Simon Says Stamp inks and fussy cut my images and set them aside.

I then chose this fantastic Whimsy Stamp paper for my background and die cut it using my LDRS Layered Card Topper dies.  I die cut my Winter sentiment by Simon Says Stamp using some Tim Holtz Metallic cardstock and fun foam.

I also white embossed my secondary hugs sentiment also by Simon Says Stamp on some Navy cardstock.

I decided to add a snow hill using Sugar Crystal glitter cardstock and then placed all of my elements on the panel and then the cardbase. To finish off, I added some fun snowflakes from my stash and some Tonic Glitter Drops in Sunlit Meadow.

Simon Says: Something New!

Hello crafty friends and Happiest New Year wishes! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Something New! We are featuring Hero Arts products it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I have been on neutral over the last few weeks, a very restful holiday break! We are currently in lockdown again in Québec, very frustrating but it is what it is...  My crafty mojo has been off, always happens after the Christmas rush of projects. I love Christmas crafting (everything Christmas really) I think it is sort of a mourning period after it's all done lol!!!

The theme this week is Something New featuring Hero Arts, I chose the Happy Holiday Stamp and Cut which is new to me. I love the script of these stamps and die and in the set are some fun stamps like the one used that looks like a jack. Also new is the amazing Funky Flowers Stencil by Simon Says Stamp.

I started by ink blending Distress Inks on my panel using the stencil and die cut it using my LDRS Layered Card Toppers. Once that was done, I stamped my Jack in a few spots and blended some black dots to fill in the panel.

I die cut the Happy from fun foam and Tonic Black Glitter cardstock lined it up where I wanted to place it and stamped the secondary sentiment then glued the die cut.

To finish off, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins, my favorite :)
