Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Whimsy Stamps :)

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I hope you are all at home safe!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes! We are featuring always super fun Whimsy Stamps, it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I used the Moose Tangle Rubber Cling Stamp for my card today, I had ordered him for Christmas but he arrived after and I have been so anxious to stamp and color this guy :)

This is a CAS card because he is the star of the show and it was meant to be that way, lol!

I coloured him and the lights using Copic markers and added shading on the bottom and die cut my panel using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.

I wanted my lights to shine so I added some Tonic White Blizzard Glitter once that was dry I added some wonky eyes from the Simon Says Stamp and Doodlebug All Eyes on You collaboration.

I used the Mama Elephant Twinkle All the Way stamp with Ranger Glitter embossing powder, it felt like the perfect sentiment for this guy.

I used fun foam and added the panel to the card base, as simple as that!

Avery Elle Butterflies

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! I have lost my crafting mojo, I have been working from home for over two months and my home office/craft room has become strictly work related therefore not my happy place right now.

When I do craft however, I am finding a certain joy in using some of my favourite older products like these butterflies by Avery Elle.

I white embossed my butterflies on craft and used my Finetec paints to color them.  Let them dry and added some black gel pen detail to the wings.  I decided to fill some of the panel using the solid butterflies in the set with my Onyx Black ink.

I stamped my Happy Birthday also by Avery Elle and then die cut my panel using a Simon Says stamp Thin Frame and replaced is using some Blush Tonic cardstock.

To finish off, I added some of the hearts from the set and stamped them with Distress Oxide inks and Onyx Black ink, some white dot detail and some Sparkling Clear sequins.

I die cut my Hello Gorgeous sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Hello Beautiful Gorgeous Wafer die set using some Tonic Black Glitter cardstock and some black fun foam.  I added my sentiment to my panel and glued it to my card base.

I added a mix of Nuvo Jewel Drops to the flower centres and to a few petals.  To finish off, I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins  by Pretty Pink Posh :)

Rainbow Hello!

Happy Friday crafty friends! Hope you have had a good week, looking forward to the long weekend (Victoria Day here in Canada).

Sharing a Rainbow Hello card today featuring Pink Fresh Studio and Simon Says Stamp products :)

I started by embossing my Diamond Tiles 6x6 cling background stamp by Pink Fresh using Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold embossing powder.

I ink blended my rainbow background with Distress Oxide ink and sprayed some water drops using my Distress Sprayer.

I die cut my frames by Pink Fresh Studio and my Hello die by Simon Says Stamp from both Tonic Honey Gold specialty paper and Kraft colored fun foam and glued them to the card base.

I then embossed my secondary sentiment by Simon Says Stamp on Black Licorice cardstock and used foam taped to add it to the panel.

I placed my panel on the card base and added some Studio Katia Gold Foil Pearls.

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I hope you are all at home safe!

This week Simon Says: Animal Fun! Company feature this week is Stampendous, it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

As you may know, the  Simon Says Stamp Store is now shipping! Woot!

So meet my version of my parents cat Simon!  This is one of the Mother's Day cards I made for my Mom from her cat and my two dogs.  I used the Simon Says Stamp For All Mom's stamp set, it has so many fun options.  It has critters, flowers and coffee themed stamps a staple in my craft room.

I stamped my "Simon" and masked him to stamp the flower in back.  I coloured everything with my Copic markers.  I then used my MFT Cloud stencil and some Shaded Lilac Distress Ink for my sky.

I die cut my panel with my Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. I embossed my sentiments using Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold embossing powder and die cut my smaller sentiment using an MFT die.

To finish off, I added some red clay hearts that I love so much!

Anchors Away!

Happy Monday crafty friends! I haven't been positing or crafting as much as I would like. My day job has been crazy during this pandemic even though I am working from home and staying safe. I work in education and my Association represents all English school boards across the province of Québec. Some of you may know that Québec and particularly Montreal is the epicentre of the Covid-19 pandemic in Canada and my province has decided to open schools before anyone else in the country.  So, I have not had much time to myself let alone craft. I am hoping to change that because I need the mental health break that crafting offers me.

So my card today is nautical, I rarely do nautical. I think I am so anxious for summer and to be able to get back to normal life that it inspired me to create based on a fun summer activity and maybe I am anxious to celebrate the eradication of this insidious virus (as all of you are as well)!

I started by stamping my lines from the Honey Bee Background Builder stamp set in multiple blues and die cut my panel using my trusty Wonky Stitched Rectangle die by Avery Elle.

I die cut my Simon Says Stamp Anchor die using some Tonic flat silver cardstock and fun foam for dimension.  I added some red and white twine to the top of the anchor and glued everything to my panel.

I stamped my let's celebrate sentiment on Simon Says Stamp School House Red and white embossed it. I used foam tape to add it to my panel. I finished off with a few of these fun silver bubbles by Spellbinder.
