Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Hero Arts

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Summer Fun! We are featuring Penny Black products, it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Since the theme is anything goes this week, I decided to pull some of my favorite Hero Arts stamps from the last few years for my project today.  I started by stamping half of my Starburst Cling Stamp on a piece of Neena cardstock and embossing it with my Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold powder.

I stamped and coloured my Butterflies from the New Day Butterflies stamp set with my Copic markers and used the accompanying die cuts.

I die cut my Wonderful from the Stamp and Cut of the same name and embossed the You Are from the same set on Black Licorice cardstock.

I placed my elements on the panel and used a mix of glue dots (butterflies) and foam tape (sentiments). To finish off, I added some of my favorite Studio Katia Icy Sparkle Crystals!

Hey You - Concord and 9th!

Happy Friday crafty friends! Hope you are keeping well! I received some new product this week, first in a while! Can anyone say happy lady! Lol

I dove in with this super fun Concord and 9th Hey Girl die set and some Whimsy Stamps rainbow pattern paper!

This card was super fun and quick to put together. Once I chose my paper from the 6 x 6 pack I simply chose complimentary cardstock to die cut my flowers and leaves. I added a bit of shading to them with Distress Inks.

I die cut my Hey from Tonic Honey Gold (flat color) and the You from the same pattern paper as my side strip.

I added some fun foam to the Hey for dimension. I then die cut my Neena panel using one of my favourite MFT stitched scallop dies.  I added my pattern paper to the card base and my top panel with foam tape.

I glued all of my elements to the panel and to finish off, I added some Studio Katia Icy Sparkle Crystals.

Nichol Spohr has done these Tri-Fold cards using Bristol Smooth Cardstock multiple times, I have  done a few of these as well based on her tutorials.  I thought it would be fun to showcase this super fun Buddy and Duck stamp set by Penny Black.

It's an older one, but I still love it!  I started by cutting my cardstock to 5.5 x 12 and scoring at 4 inches on either side.

I stamped my images and I was too lazy to create masks but I find that Bristol is forgiving to either erase small portions with my Tombow Mono Sand Eraser or simply using water or my Zig blender.

I blended my rainbow clouds and grass using my Distress Inks along with two MFT stencils. Once that was done, I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and coloured in my images.

I added some glossy accents to the balloons and the cupcake, once that was dry I added some white gel pen detail.

To finish off, I added my sentiments both by Simon Says Stamp, some Studio Katia butterfly glitter and some black candy hearts.

I bought this Kobi Bearing Gifts stamp set by Studio Katia and never had a chance to ink him up.  I thought this challenge was the perfect time to showcase him :)  I stamped and coloured my images with Copic markers and used the accompanying dies.

I then chose the Darling Ribbon and Dotted Frames Dies also by Studio Katia to frame my images.  I embossed the top panel using a 3D polka dot folder from my stash, I felt it complimented the gift boxes.

I put all of my die cut elements together on the card base and gold embossed my sentiment and added it and the gold ribbon on top (ribbon from the same die set).

To finish off, I added some Studio Katia Gold Foil Pearls and some Nuvo drops to some of the packages.  Once that was all dry, I added some black and white gel pen details!

Simon Says Stamp Craft Hugs Release!

Happy Monday crafty friends! I received this Extra Large Thank You die by Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design from the new Crafty Hugs Release on Friday!

I love the CZ Design fonts, so clean and the scale of this one is fabulous.

I hadn't played with my alcohol inks in a while so I pulled out the pearl finish inks (I love the finish with the pearl) and a metallic gold. I used my Tim Holtz Yupo paper and just added ink and blending solution then spread my color using a straw.

Once I was happy with the panel I set it aside to dry. When it was still slightly sticky in certain spots, I added some gold deco foil. Super happy with the way it turned out!

I decided to die cut the Thank You die directly on the panel so that I could create two cards from the Alcohol ink background.  I also die cut the Thank You from Woodgrain cardstock and fun foam and inlaid the sentiment.

My secondary sentiments came from an older Simon Says Stamp set with the best sentiments called Thanks.  I added a few white clay hearts to finish off the first one.

For the second card, I used one of my favourite 3D embossing folders and glued the sentiment at an angle.  I used a secondary sentiment from the same SSS stamp set. for this one I added one pink heart and some of my favourite Studio Katia Icy Sparkle Crystals.

Simon Says: Masculine

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I hope you are all at home safe!

This week Simon Says: Masculine! We are featuring always super fun Your Next Stamp products, it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

This Tini Sips stamp and die set is one of my favourite by Your Next Stamp.  I started by stamping and colouring my martini glasses and used the accompanying dies.  I glued my Olives to the glasses and then added Glossy Accents. I put them aside to dry and picked my inks based on the olives and the pick colors I chose.

I used a Hero Arts Stencil and did some selective blending and die cut my panel using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.  I die cut my Cheers by My Favorite Things with some Tonic blue paper and fun foam.

I positioned my images on the panel so that I could stamp my secondary sentiment also from the Tini Sips stamps set once that was complete I glued all of my elements to the panel and added it with foam tape to my card base.
