Surfin' Frenchie!

Happy Friday crafty friends! I was in need of pure summer inspiration card and this is what came of it, lol! What's better than a surfing dog :)

I don't have the Chillin' Frenchies Dies (Simon Says Stamp) so I decided to work around my image and use a mix of Copic Markers for my water and selective stencilling for my clouds.

I started by stamping my cutie franchie and colouring him in (also with Copics).

I moved onto my water with B family Copics, and I am happy with the way it turned out.  I chose my Simon Says Stamp cloud stencil and Salty Ocean Distress Ink.  Once that was complete, I decided I wanted to add some pattern paper so I trimmed my panel down on either side and chose this Sunny Studio blue polka dot paper.

I felt like it was little too blue (if that's possible) so I added some slim Washi from my stash and I liked that better.  To finish off, some Iridescent Bubbles by Studio Katia, white gel pen detail and some of my favourite Simon Says Stamp Unicorn dust :)

So this is new to me, tone on tone is not something I play with often. I tend to use lots of color on my projects. Trying to shake things up, lol!

I started by die cutting my Mermaid cardstock and ink blending some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I then added some Tonic Glitter pastes using my Falling Stars Stencil and set it aside to dry.

I die cut my elements using a mix of Tonic Glitter, Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp cardstocks and glued them together.

Once my panel was dry, I added my die cut elements and placed the panel on the card base.

I added my secondary sentiment and finished off with some Sparkling Clear Sequins :)

My Shoe Obsession on a Card!

Happy Tuesday crafty friends!  Today I am sharing a card based on my own personal obsession - shoes! I blame Mini Mouse and my first trip to Disney as a 6 year-old for this shoe obsession that I have had since then! lol.

This shoe die is an older one by Memory Box that I pulled out to play with again. I have been looking at my older products a lot since the COVID imposed "lock-down" as mail is super, super slow and most stores were closed... Next trip for me will be my local scrapbook store that I have missed terribly.

I die cut my shoes from a bunch of rainbow coloured cardstock by Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp.  Once that was done I embossed my panel to give some added texture and glued my shoes on using foam tape and cut the excess off using my Tim Holtz Tonic Trimmer.

I chose my Hello Gorgeous from Simon Says Stamp and die cut it from both black and gold cardstock and glued it in the centre of the panel.  To finish off, I added Sparkling Clear Sequins and some Tonic Jewel Drops!

Lots of new babies on the way in my network lately so this challenge was timely! I chose to feature the amazing Honey Bee Baby Dies, I love the Honey Bee word dies - so many options with the three layers offered.

This card was quick to put together, I started by blending Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries Oxide Ink. I let it dry and went over a Studio Katia Stencil with Unicorn White Pigment ink.  I die cut it using my largest MFT Mod Stitched Rectangle.

I die cut two of the three baby dies using black glitter cardstock and Lawn Fawn Guava cardstock.

I placed the sentiment on the card panel using foam tape and then stamped the Baby Girl by Lawn Fawn. To finish off, I added some white candy hearts and a mini pink clothes pin from my stash.

Slim Line Card using IOS flower dies

Happy Tuesday crafty friends! I am loving all the slimline cards I am seeing lately so I felt like making one using some super fun flower dies by Impression Obsession.

I started by cutting and prepping my card base and panel (cut from Lawn Fawn woodgrain paper). I then die cut my flowers using rainbow cardstock from my stash.  I added some Distress Inks to the flowers for added dimension.

I placed my flowers and leaves on the panel to judge my sentiment placing and decided on this super fun Neat & Tangled Awesome die that I haven't used in a while. I then decided to add some Lawn Fawn butterfly dies on a few of the flowers and die cut them from Tonic Black Glitter cardstock. I put all of my elements on the panel using a mix of foam tape and glue.

To finish off, I added some Studio Katia Icy Crystals to the flower centres and a few around the sentiments.

Simon Says: Moving Parts

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

Such fun making this card! Ah, summer - love all of it! I started by using my Distress Inks to create my "water panel" for my bear to "float" in the waves.  I put that aside to dry and blended some Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs and a little Ground Espresso Distress Inks to create my beach.

Once those were done and dry, I die cut them using stitched waves (Mama Elephant) and Stitched Hillside border (Lawn Fawn).  put them aside to work on my other elements.

I stamped all of my images from the On the Beach Clear stamp set and colored them with my Copic markers and used the accompanying die cuts.

I then used one of my MFT Cloud stencils with Salty Ocean Distress Ink for my background.  I placed everything on my base panel to see where to die cut my Slide on Over die making the Bear fluid in the background of the waves.

I put all of my elements together using foam tape for the interactive element. Added the remainder of my stamps. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

To finish off, I added my Slide Me circle some white gel pen detail and some Picket Fence Distress Paint on the "waves" and sand.
