Hello crafty friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and a surprise!

This week Simon Says: Bright and Colourful and we are featuring super fun AALL & Create products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I love these dog stamps so much! I stamped and coloured my dog then fussy cut him out. I decided on Kraft for a tone on tone look with the pup for the bright green to pop! I then used my AALL stencil and ink blended some Unicorn White ink.  I glued my pup using foam tape then added white gel pen detail to the image.

I die cut my Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday die from some green metallic card stock, glued it to the card base. Then to finish off, some green clear drops!

I love the Pink & Main puzzle piece dies! This one was so fun, I die cut my paper left the dies in the die cut. Glued the bulk of the pieces using glue and took three out to add using foam tape to highlight them, and added them to the panel. I die cut my friend die and glued it to the panel also using glue.

I embossed the secondary sentiment, also by Pink & Main and glued that using foam tape. To finish off some pearls by Pink Fresh!

I love this stencil by Gina K., layering stencils are the best but this one is so fun. I started with a piece of Soft Navy card stock and used my Distress Oxide inks and ink blended the first two and then added dimensional paste to the third layer. I sprinkled glitter over the paste for some shine.

I ink blended some Faded Jeans Distress Ink to the corners for depth. Once all was dry, I stamped and die cut my CZ Design sentiment and added it using foam tape. then to finish off, some snowflakes and hearts from my stash!

Simon Says: Add A Number!

Hello crafty friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and a surprise!

This week Simon Says: Add A Number and we are featuring CZ Design products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I am obsessed with the new CZ Design Making Spirits Bright Clear Stamps and Die set for the holidays. The size of them is so fun and the set has accompanying dies, which is fantastic.  I decided to make a mitten card using the Simon Says Stamp Mitten Gift Card Holder, the size of the die makes a good sized card (can also be made into a fantastic gift card).

I cut two pieces of card stock glued them together at the top to make the card base and one piece of off white felt and glued it to the top panel. I die cut a piece of grey felt for the top of the mitten.

I stamped and embossed my main sentiment on Firestone Red Card Stock then die cut it. I also die cut the snowflakes from the mitten die set and glued them to my card. I used some Avery Elle numbers from my stash for my 25 and a wooden heart. To finish off, some red twine for the top!

Simon Says: Layer It Up/Use Ephemera

Hello crafty friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and a surprise!

I was inspired to start an art journal over my summer vacation and I find it so relaxing and completely different from my card making style. I am exploring different mediums and designs, which I am enjoying immensely. I started by using my Dylusions spray on the background once dried I ink blended some Speckled Egg Oxide Ink. I then stamped my text in the top right and bottom left corners. I used my stencil and added Texture Paste and let that dry.

I put my ephemera together and glued the top parts together and glued it as one piece using foam tape to the page. To finish off, some black splatters!

Fall is my favourite season! Added bonus, halloween themed products! I started by colouring my image using my COPIC markers and fussy cutting the image.

I embossed my panel and added some Aged Mahogany Ink to the surround. I then passed over the top with gold ink to bring attention to the trees.

I added my frame and stamped and cut my sentiment. I added my elements to the panel and added some white gel pen detail to the image, to finish off some Champagne Clear Drops.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPTEMBER Blog Party!

It's time for STAMPtember! Best crafty month of the year! Super happy to be participating in the Blog Party celebrating the new release and the month-long festivities!

I used the super fun new Haunted Pumpkin Wafer dies for my card today!

I started by taking a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolour paper and using my Dylusions Sprays in Laidback Lilac and Crushed grape and some Her Arts Gold Spray. Let my panel dry while I die cut my elements from the die set.

I put my ghosts together with the accessories and placed them aside to finish my panel.  I added some Black Soot Distress Ink to the outer edges of my panel for depth.

I glued my ghosts to the panel using foam tape, and stamped and embossed my sentiment from the Halloween Treats set released last year. to finish off, some purple clear drops and some wash tape to the sides.

Enjoy the Blog Party!
