Happy Monday crafty friends! Super excited to be participating the annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags by Tracey McNeely over at In My Creative Opinion. This is the 10th Anniversary of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags and it is such a fun event. I am super happy to be participating using some amazing Simon Says Stamp Brand Exclusives!
I made a few different types of tags, one super fun cat themed tag and a series of similar tags using some fantastic Simon Says Stamp snowflakes.
We have many cat lovers in my family so using a kitty for a Christmas tag is an annual occurrence for me! This cutie is from the newly released Feline a Lot Like Christmas Spinners stamp set, I masked the images as my dies are in the mail for this set. All of the cats have a spinner partner, which means there is the front and back. Can't wait to get them!
I colored all of my images and background with my Copic Markers and added some white gel pen detail. I die cut my tag shape using some Tonic specialty paper and put everything together. Since I used dies from my stash, I added the hole for the ribbon using my We R Memory Keepers hole punch. Once that was done, I added my sentiment from the same stamp set.
Simon Says Stamp snowflake dies are my favorite. The detail on them is simply amazing, I chose two dies and a mix of my glitter and specialty paper for these and a lot of die cutting. These are fun and really fast to put together assembly line style. The sentiments for these came from the Simon Says Stamp tiny Words Christmas set, the size of these sentiments are perfect for tags.
I put all of my elements together using a mix of tape runner and foam tape. To finish off, I added a mix of twine from my stash and decided to add a die cut bow from another Simon Says Stamp die set that includes the bow and a candy cane.
Check out Tracey's blog, the 25 Days stared yesterday and runs until the end of the month! Lots of fun inspiration!
