Penny Black Mother's Day

This is the last post of the day, I swear! I seem to always turn to Penny Black for my Mother's Day card.  This was totally inspired by Kathy Racoosin on the last day of her 30-day challenge.  This Tiger Lily is one of my favourite flower stamps.

Penny Black and Mama Elephant

So I typically make family members a card from my husband and I as well as one from the pets.  The three of them are a big part of everyone's lives so it always seems appropriate and they all love getting them.  Monday is my parents 47 wedding anniversary this is the card from the pets, the Penny Black dog that I love is coloured like our Glory down to the daisy name tag she wears.  I am having a very happy Saturday in my craft room :).

Products used:

Penny Black Doggone Sweet

Mama Elephant

This one is well, put it this way, a funny anniversary card for my parents (thank goodness they have a wonderful sense of humour!). I can't believe they have been married for 47 years! By the way, they had me late in life and I am the baby of the family...(lol).  I thought this card would be appropriate for the ME Make me Laugh Challenge over at Flickr.

Love these Honey bunnies from Mama Elephant
Also used the Balloon et Cetera and the second part of the sentiment is from a mix of Happy Everything and Jolly and Merry
The oh blank is SSS

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Jungle

This one was such fun to make, like all the Lawn Fawn Critters sets the possibilities are endless.  I do love the fact that most of the LF sets and dies are great to pair together.  I have been producing and enjoying my craft room over the last 10 days work travel has finally ceased for the next week or so. This will be the first of four posts today! I decided to enter this one as well to the Lawnscaping dimension challenge as a second entry.

Avery Elle just for fun

If you have been to my blog before,  I believe it is very easy to see that I am a huge animal lover.  Any die set or stamp set featuring critters but especially dogs and cats are made for me! This Avery Elle stamp set was obviously calling my name!  Made this one for fun and turned the dog into my Golden, Glory. I showed this card to my husband and he assumed I had made it for him ha!

Products used:

Avery Elle Furry Friends stamps and die (dog ((dog, bowl, ball, sentiment and paws))
Paper Smooches dog house and bone die
Lawn Fawn grassy border, fence and cloud dies
Tim Holtz stencil (dog house)
Gathered Twigs distress ink
Copics
I believe it is a Darcy embossing folder

Just had fun making this little scene :)

Lawn Fawn - Bonjour!

This card is special to me as it was made for my ailing aunt who still lives in my home town (not easy access for me). I am half French Canadian and my entire family with the exception of my mom are French speaking.  I am so thrilled Lawn Fawn offered a French sentiment in this stamp set as they are hard to come by!  I will also submit this to the current Lawnscaping Dimension Challenge (103) - Lots o' foam adhesive on this one!

Products used:

Lawn Fawn stamp sets: Gleeful Gardens and Life is Good
Lawn Fawn cloud die which I made into a stencil for the clouds
Lawn Fawn Let's Polka patterned paper and Lemon twine
Lifestyle crafts embossing folder
SSS Sea Glass and Maliblue inks for the sky
Copic markers
MFT hybrid black ink
PPP sequins
Ranger platinum embossing powder

Avery Elle Watercolour

I love this elephant, just picked this set up from my local scrapbook store - Scrapbook Centrale.  The challenge this month at the aeiheartu challenge is watercolour. I enjoy it but find it difficult to control (control freak anyone lol!). I tried the no-line watercolour with the elephant, I like the way it turned out.

Stamps: Avery Elle "Ellie" and "Cupcakes" (sentiment)
Distress inks
Versafine Onyx Black ink
PPP sequins
Ranger watercolour paper
