Simon Says: Fabulous Flowers!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Fabulous Flowers and we are featuring super fun Waffle Flower products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Such fun making this card, these are all newly acquired products that I have not used yet! I started by die cutting my Waffle Flower Abstract Flowers and ink blending my elements. I put the flower pieces together using a mix of low profile and high profile foam squares and added some black gel pen detail.

I chose this Honey Bee Woodgrain paper for my background panel and glued my flower to the panel. I then used this new Simon Says Stamp sentiment stamp and added it to my panel using my Misti for precision.

To finish off, I wanted to add this wax seal. I added gold twine from my stash and glued the seal on top to the left of the card and some Studio Katia Gold Pearls!

Simon Says: Too Cute!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and best wishes for the new year!

This week Simon Says: Too Cute and we are featuring always super fun Lawn Fawn products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I have always loved Lawn Fawn Hearts and Stars. Both stamps and dies and I was cleaning out my stash over the break and came upon this super sweet So Jelly stamp set and decided to stamp the stars and color them in using rainbow COPIC markers. I used the accompanying die and set them aside to work on the background.

I decided to use my Outside In Stitched Stars also my Lawn Fawn and die cut a series of white stars and placed them on my panel using foam tape and cut the excess off.  I lined up my stars in a circular pattern.

I stamped and white embossed my sentiment from the same stamp set and then used the Honey Bee Friend Bitty Buzz word die. To finish off, some Memory Box Fairy Jewels.

Simon Says: Something New!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and best wishes for the new year!

This week Simon Says: Something New and we are featuring Studio Light products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

So, Christmas is my favourite time of year. From mid-November to January 1 I am happier than a kid in a candy store. Once January 1 hits (FYI, I live in snowy Montreal) I start looking forward to summer, lol! So this Dolphin Cocktail stamp set is so appropriate for me this time of year.

The scale of the stamp set is quite large, therefore simply the martini glass and sentiment took the panel front making this a relatively quick card! I stamped my images and used my trusty COPIC markers.

I die cut my panel using a discontinued older MFT die and then ink blended some Salvaged Patina Distress Ink. To finish off, some of my favourite Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins.

So much fun making this one with the amazing large bow die by Simon Says Stamp and my favourite Champagne flutes! Easy card to put together as it's mostly die cuts :)

I just received this paper from the Simon Says Stamp Hugs release and it was perfect for the theme and the dies I picked.

I trimmed my panel and die cut all of my elements put them on the panel with a mix of foam tape (for dimension) and glue. I added some Pink Fresh black candies and some silver pearls.

For my sentiment, I used the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas and then finished off with some white gel pen detail.

Simon Says: Ice Cold!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Ice Cold and we are featuring super fun Avery Elle products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

There is probably nothing that I enjoy making more than Christmas gift tags. This challenge worked out well, I am so behind on my tags this year and these Avery Elle Joy tags will be perfect as one of my sets for this year.

The theme Ice Cold to me was all about cold blue and snowflakes.

I started by die cutting my coloured glitter paper and glueing my word to my tag bases. I knew I wanted to add a snowflake so I die cut the single snowflake from the new Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Hexagon die set and glued it to the back of the tag and added white card stock backing piece. I then used my hole punch and added my twine.

These were quick and fun to make. I ended up making a set of five tags with this. This die set is super fun because you also have the option of a Merry tag and a HoHoHo tag. I will for sure be making more tags using the other two in the set.

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Add Some Sparkle and we are featuring Wow! products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $25 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I knew I wanted to use my favorite Wow! Clear Hologram embossing powder the sparkle is so pretty with this powder.  I decided to use my Simon Says Stamp Budding Branches dies and do some ink blending using my Distress Inks.

I then added some VersaMark ink to my branches so that I could emboss them with the Hologram Sparkle.

I decided to use the Fir Tree Branches 3D embossing folder for my panel (the embossing folder is from the amazing December card kit) and added a bit of the Distress Foundry Wax in Gilded to the top of the branches.

I die cut my Merry Christmas by Honey Bee Stamps using Tonic red specialty paper.

I added my elements to the panel and to finish off, some Sparkling Clear Sequins and some twine from my stash!

Simon Says Stamp DieCember Blog Hop Day 2!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp DieCember Blog Hop!

I used the amazing new Snowflake Hexagon Wafer Die for my card share today!

I chose this amazing blue holographic paper for my main panel and took pictures in different light for you to see the amazing colors your get with this paper.

I die cut my panel and die cut a second time using Sugar Crystal glitter paper and did my die-cut inlay using the Sugar Crystal Snowflake Hexagon die piece.

I die cut a few of the solo snowflake from the same set from blue glitter card stock and added them to the panel. I also used my favourite Joy die and die cut it from both the blue glitter and the sugar crystal glitter paper, glued them together  and added it to the panel.

I backed my panel using the Sugar Crystal once again and added everything to my card base. To finish off some snowflake sequins! Hop order listed below :)
