Simon Says: Thinking of You!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Thinking of You and we are featuring Birch Press Design products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

It's Remembrance Day in Canada on November 11, and I felt like turning this beautiful Birch Press Cosmos Die into a Poppy to underline the importance of the week leading to the day. I am so happy with the way this turned out, aside from Christmas I don't use that much red on my cards.

I die (die has two different petals) cut my flower (twice, which gave me four different petal pieces) and added some Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to give the petals some depth.  I then took my favourite Whimsy Stamps double rectangle die (I use this die all the time) and die cut it from Black Glitter card stock.

I then took this Hero Arts stencil and ink blended a select area on my background panel in red. I glued my black frame to the panel and then my flower using foam tape.

For my sentiments, I used Spellbinders Wonderful Script Sentiments for the You die and the Everyday Sentiments 2 Glimmer Plates. To finish off, some Pink Fresh Studio Ruby gems.

Simon Says: Emboss It!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Emboss It and we are featuring Crafter's Companion products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

This stamp and die set by Crafter's Companion is such fun, I love the scale of it. I started by die cutting my panel with the Birthday die and I then embossed the top and then the bottom using my Simon Says Stamp 3D Embossing folder (products listed below).

I added my patterned paper to the background and then stamped my secondary sentiment from the same Crafter's Companion set on a piece of Guava card stock trimmed it and added it to my panel.

To finish off, my favourite iridescent gems!

Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Simon Says Stamp Brand Exclusive Products

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always amazing Simon Says Stamp brand exclusive products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I felt like a fall themed card this week, the colors of the leaves in Montreal are almost done. I took an older Simon Says Stamp, stamp set with the leaves and stamped them with both white pigment ink and offset the stamp to add my colors. I fussy cut my leaves and set them aside.

I die cut and embossed my panel then added some Kraft paper to the background. I die cut my Thankful die and then added my leaves and sentiment to the panel.

I stamped my "for you" stamp directly on the panel and to finish off, some of these brown hearts.

Simon Says: Food and/or Drink

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Food and/or Drink and we are featuring Picket Fence Studio products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I love this Shaker Die by Picket Fence Studio, I wanted to make a festive holiday cocktail. I started by die cutting my martini glass and colouring the outside with BG000 to give a glass effect.

I then put together my shaker using seed beads from my stash. I set it aside to dry and cut my patterned paper and decided to pair with this amazing 3D embossing folder (Kaleidoscope) by Simon Says Stamp for my top panel.

I glued my shaker to the panel and added a candy cane and tiny ribbon to my drink. I die cut my Cheers die and glued it to my card. I finished off with some Christmas red sequins!

Simon Says: Christmas!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Christmas and we are featuring Kitchen Sink Stamps products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I love making a Christmas Scene, this one has a lot of elements but was surprisingly quick enough to make. I ink blended my background panel and added my texture paste over my Simon Says Stamp snow stencil and set it aside to dry.

I stamped my snowman and hat and fussy cut both and glued the hat to the snowman. I then die cut my Birch trees (ink blended slightly), and snow hill.

Once my background panel was dry, I glued my trees and then my snow hill and added my Snowman. I then decided to die cut my Lawn Fawn small wreath and added it to one of my trees with the bow from the same die set and some Christmas red sequins. I then added a cardinal die cut also by Lawn Fawn and my sentiment, which I white embossed!

Simon Says Stamp Season of Wonder Release!

Happy Friday crafty friends! Super excited to be hopping with Simon Says Stamp on Day 1 of the Season of Wonder Blog Hop!

Full list of stops on the hop listed below! I am sharing two cards today featuring some of the amazing new products!

For those of you that follow my blog or Instagram, you will be familiar with my love of critters! This set called Wintertime Critters is the SWEETEST! The scale of the images is so good, I decided on a slimline to showcase two of the five images in the set.

I stamped and coloured my images using my COPIC markers, I also added some shading for my "snow hills". I then ink blended my "sky", once the panel was dry I red glitter embossed my sentiment from the same stamp set.

I finished off by adding some very fine glitter to the snow hills and the Critters hats and some snowflakes from my stash!

For this one, I used the amazing Just My Type Christmas Stencils. I love these dimensional stencils!

I had a panel that I created using some Tim Holtz Mica Spray and decided to use it with red and pink inks. I just love non-traditional pink for Christmas.

I started by ink blending my panel with a mix of Pink and Red inks. Once that was complete I stamped some of these amazing Simon Says Stamp Snowflakes on the panel in the same colors and then hearts from the same snowflake stamp set.

To finish off, some white gel pen details and Magenta Pink Fresh Studio gems!

Simon Says: Stencil Fun!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Stencil Fun and we are featuring always amazing Pink Fresh Studio products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Such fun playing with this stencil! I am happy with the way it turned out even without the stamps and dies that are available to pair with the stencil.  I used a mix of Pawsitively Saturated inks to ink blend my flowers and leaves and added some white detail.

I then die cut my panel using the amazing Simon Says Stamp Marquee die set and added my panel to the card base using foam tape.

I die cut my Simon Says Stamp Hello Gorgeous dies and cut them from Tonic Black Glitter card stock. I finished off by adding some Pink Fresh Iridescent gems!
