Simon Says: Add Some Texture

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Add Some Texture and we are featuring always amazing Tim Holtz products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I had fun making this card using my new Floral Wreath die By Tim Holtz. I started by spraying some Watercolor card stock panels with Distress Mica Spray in various colors.  One they were dry, I die cut my wreath and florals from the panels giving my die cuts this amazing shine.

I trimmed another watercolor panel to 4 x 5.25 and added some flecks of Distress Paint to my background panel. Once that was dry, I glued my wreath and flowers using a mix of foam tape and glue.

I die cut my Spellbinders hello sentiment, embossed my friend sentiment on a small tag and added them to the panel. To finish off, a few clear gems on the flower centres.

Simon Says: Let's Have Some Fun!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Let's Have Some Fun and we are featuring super fun Riley & Company products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I simply love the Riley & Company sentiments, they are so fun. I decided on a more polite one for today's challenge, lol! I paired it with a fantastic Spellbinder's die set that I never got the chance to use for the holidays. I do love that they offer extra accessories in the set and makes it fun to use year-round.

I die cut my cups from three different purple card stocks and did some ink blending and stamped my sentiment on the first cup and set them aside.

I ink blended my background panel and then glued my cups to the top using a mix a glue and foam tape. I die cut various hearts from glitter card stock and glued them to the cup and I finished off with some purple clear drops.

Simon Says: Cute Critters!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Cute Critters and we are featuring super fun Newton's Nook products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I love cute critters! This one is fun because it can be used for Valentine's Day or a regular thank you card etc. I started by ink blending my background using my Pawsitively Saturated Inks by Simon Says Stamp and set it aside.

I stamped and coloured my image using my COPIC markers, I also stamped my image again on patterned paper and fussy cut it to do some paper piecing with the cupcake holder. I die cut the original image and added it to the panel using foam tape and glued my patterned paper to the base image with foam tape for dimension.

I die cut my Sweet dies by Whimsy Stamps and added it with foam tape to the panel. I then stamped and die cut my secondary sentiment and glued it to the card. To finish off, some orange candy hearts from my stash!

Simon Says: Something New!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Something New and we are featuring always amazing My Favorite Things products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I have been enjoying monochromatic lately not sure why but I am so happy with the way this one turned out.  I wanted to use my new MFT North Pole Pals clear stamps to make a fun winter card. I then decided to pair the critters with this super fun 6x6 paper from the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit.

I stamped and coloured my images using COPIC markers and fussy cut them and set them aside.

I cut my paper and embossed it with my 3D folder by Simon Says Stamp (products listed below) I felt the background need a pop so I die cut a tag from Marina Mist card stock and embossed it with the same folder. I added the tag to the panel using foam tape and cut the excess on top. I then glued my images with a mix of foam tape and glue.

I die cut my Friend die using Sugar Crystal and Marina Mist card stocks and glues them together. I added that with foam tape and I white embossed my secondary sentiment.  To finish off, some of my new blue clear drops!

Simon Says: Party time!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Party Time and we are featuring always amazing Honey Bee Stamps products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

The Party Time theme from me = New Years Eve! So I made this New Year's card and I love the way it turned out.  I started by cutting some of this amazing Italian Rose specialty card stock by Tonic (the color is beautiful) I embossed my A2 panel using the new Simon Says Stamp snowflake embossing folder and set it aside.

I then took some more of the same card stock and embossed my Honey Bee snowflakes using gold glitter embossing powder, I then used the accompanying dies.

I glued them to the panel using foam tape and cut the excess snowflakes using my precision scissors.  I white embossed my Spellbinders sentiments on the same paper and used the die for the Wishing You and my Gina K. banner dies for the secondary sentiment.

I added the sentiments to the panel using a mix of foam tape and glue. To finish off, my new gorgeous Pink Fresh Studio champagne gems on the centres of the snowflakes and a few on the panel.
