Simon Says: Shaped Cards

  Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Shaped Cards and we are featuring Mama Elephant products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

I don't know why we don't do shaped cards more often, they are such fun to work with! I decided on an oval for my card today because I wanted to feature this amazing Mama Elephant Hi die.

I started by die cutting my paper using an oval from my stash and embossing it using a Simon Says Stamp 3D embossing folder to mimic the flowers I chose to add to the hi.

I put my card base together cutting a little off the bottom of the back panel to help the oval stand.

I die cut my Hi die and added it to the card base using foam tape. I then stamped and coloured my Mama Elephant Cosmos Wreath flowers and leaves and used the accompanying dies.

I added them to the Hi die with the leaves. To finish off, I white embossed the Friend sentiment on black card stock and added it using foam tape as well!
