Lots of Love

Happy cold, cold Friday from MontrĂ©al! This has been a particularly strange winter, major storms mixed with super freezing temps and then a one day break with a massive rainfall... We, apparently, have not seen a weather pattern like this in one hundred years!  So, happy hearts today with Lawn Fawn for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge to cheer myself up!

The cute little Skunk was my starting point because I wanted to have him holding a bouquet of flowers :)  I stamped and coloured him in with my Copics and used the accompanying die. I also die cut all of my flowers at the same time.

I put my bouquet together and added some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels to the centres and glued the bouquet to my skunk.

I decided to use my Outside In Stitched Scallop dies and die cut them from Ballet Slippers and one of the smaller ones from Neena.  I then used the Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Die on the inside white panel.

I ink blended some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink on both the frame and the inside panel. I then die cut my sentiment and two hearts from Simon Says Stamp glitter paper and the rest of the hearts from some Tim Holtz Metallic paper and Ballet Slippers (ink blended the Picked raspberry once again).

I white embossed my sentiment on Black Licorice cardstock and die cut it with a banner die.

Lawn Fawn Beary Happy Holidays

Happy Wednesday crafty friends! Just back from a business trip to Edmonton where I actually saw snow! I so was not prepared for that! Happy to be home to warmer temperatures!

I guess my cold experience inspired me to share this project made with some new Lawn Fawn products from the latest release.

This was the first project I made when I got some of the new Lawn Fawn goodies.  I just love the new Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles especially when the two biggest are used together! I started with those frames and masked off the top frame to add some Lawn Fawn Merman ink.  I used the same ink for my background panel along with the SSS Falling Snow Stencil.

I then stamped and colored my bear from the Beary Happy Holidays set with my Copic markers. I then die cut the new birch trees and cardinal all from the Lawn Cuts Birch Trees dies.  I used Distress Inks in Hickory Smoke for the trees (very light hand) and Lawn Fawn Lobster ink for the cardinal.

I then used the same Lobster ink for my sentiment. I put my card together, this was a relatively quick project.

Thanks for taking the time!
