Lawnscaping Blog Hop - Deep Red!

Good morning all and welcome to the July Blog Hop Sponsored by The Ink Road you could win a $25.00 gift certificate to this store!  All you need to do is leave a comment with a trackable e-mail on each stop on this hop!

You will have arrived here from the talented Jesshttp://jesscraftsblog.blogspot.ca/2015/07/lawnscaping-fit-blog-hop-deep-red.html's Blog. This month we are inspired by the colour deep red! I typically stay away from red aside from the obvious Christmas and Valentine's Day so this was a fun challenge for me! I decided to use the Lawn Fawn Flower from Our Friendship Grows and turn it into a gerbera red daisy (gerbera daisies are my favourites).

So here is my project:

I used the SSS School House Red for the background paper die cut with the Large Stitched Rectangles by Lawn Fawn. I stamped and masked the largest flower from Our Friendship Grows and stamped the two smaller on either side.  I Copic coloured them based on a gerbera daisy I found on Google (of course!). I added some white detail with a gel pen. I then added tumbled glass ink around the flowers. I dies cut the script Hello die also by Lawn Fawn once in white and once in black for shadow (I love that effect). stamped the friend sentiment and finally added some PPP sequins.
Your next stop is the wonderful Angel's blog! Happy summer!

Thanks so much! Here are the other unbelievably talented blog hoppers! Enjoy!
