Simon Says: Use Dies in DieCember®

Hello crafty friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week Simon Says: Use Dies and we are featuring always amazing Simon Says Stamp products  - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Tags are my favourite! Christmas tags top the list and I am knee deep in holiday prep. I used a mix of Simon Says Stamp products for these starting with the new Magical Mistletoe wafer dies. I die cut my pieces and set them aside. I die cut my tags and used an older 3D embossing folder. I lightly blended some White Unicorn Ink on top of the embossed areas.

I added my Mistletoe dies on top with some glitter on select leaves. Embossed my sentiment and used the accompanying die and added them to my tags with foam tape. To finish off, some Emerald Clear Drops and a mix of ribbon and twine!

Honeybee Stamps Hot Chocolate and Gingerbread!

Hello crafty friends! I have been posting fewer projects this year, my work has me a little busy and has for the last number of years. I am hopeful that things will change for the better for 2026. I miss my crafty space.

Today I am sharing this fun card using a mix of Honeybee Stamps and Altenew products.

I stamped and coloured my gingerbread/hot chocolate using my Polychromos pencils (I have not used them in a while) on Kraft card stock. I die cut my image and set it aside to work on my panel. I took a piece of Kraft A2 sized card stock and used this fantastic Altenew embossing folder (products listed and linked below).

I glued my gingerbread man using foam tape on an angle. Stamped and added my sentiment from the same stamp set. I added glitter to the top of my image and some white gel pen detail. I decided to cut some strips of card stock to add to the top and bottom to ground the image. To finish off red clear drops!

Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Lawn Fawn!

Hello crafty friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring always amazing Lawn Fawn products  - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I think making Christmas gift tags is my favourite kind of craft project. These were quick and fun to put together. I die cut all of my elements (for the front and back to make them more secure). I glued all of my elements together on top of the tag.

I then added the red "ribbon" and gold bell to the side of my tags. I used my hole-punch and added some red twine to all four tags!

I love these Bird Crazy products by Tim Holtz, I never tire of using them. I started by cutting my green panel and ink blending with my stencil in select spots. I then stamped, coloured and die cut my bird and accessories.

I die cut my Happy and Birthday sentiments and added them to the panel using a mix of glue and foam tape.

I then added my bird and accessories also using foam tape. I then added white gel pen detail a little everywhere and finished off with some Pink Fresh brown pearls!

Simon Says: Thank You

Hello crafty friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week Simon Says: Thank You and we are featuring Doodlebug products  - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Who doesn't love Doodlebug products! So much fun! For my first card, I did a fall themed thank you card with my leaves and side panel made from Doodlebug patterned paper. I paired my leaves with a Simon Says Stamp Thanks wafer die set.

I added some ink blending on the panel and some paint splatters I lined up my leaves and the sentiment on top. To finish off, some brown candy/clay hearts.

I love these Doodlebug Butterflies, so I decided to make a second card with the prompt for these dies. I used some patterned paper for my side panel and the same die cut top panel with some ink blending. I picked a different Simon Says Stamp Thanks die. Used three different papers for the Butterfly then added it using foam tape. To finish off, some clear drops!

Simon Says Stamp and Everything Nice Release Blog Hop Day 1!

Hello crafty friends, it's time for holiday crafting! I am so happy to be taking part in the Simon Says Stamp and Everything Nice Release Day 1 Blog Hop!

This is an amazing release filled with all kinds of holiday goodness! I had so much fun playing with  these products. I am sharing two cards today using some super fun dies!

French cards are super important to me as a 50% French Canadian! I used the beautiful new Poinsettia Cover Plate Die and used some of my Tonic glitter paper for a more dramatic effect with my white poinsettia petals. I did die cut inlay for my elements and finished off with a CZ Design Simon Says Stamp Joyeux Noel die.

For this one, I used the new Magical Mistletoe die but turned it into Holly. I die cut it three times added some lighter leaves with the extra leaves die cut included. I placed my elements on my card base and cut the excess. I picked my Joy sentiment and then added my last scrap piece to the bottom right. To finish off, some red clear drops.

I am so happy with the way this one turned out,  I used Altenew's fabulous Delicate Magnolia Die set. The Key Hole system that Altenew uses for their layering dies makes it so easy! Simon Says: Anything Goes!

Hello crafty friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and a surprise!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring Studio Light products  - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Fall is eternally my favourite season and I do love making a fall themed card. I took my Studio Light paper and cut it to A2 size and added some gold and white splatters and set it aside to dry.  I then die cut my leaves and ink blended them using Distress Inks. I also added gold paint splatter to the leaves.

While the leaves dried, I stamped and embossed my sentiment from Pink Fresh  and used the accompanying die. I set lined my leaves on the panel and used some press and seal to get the grouping I planned. I then glued the leaves to the panel and added my sentiment using foam tape. To finish off, my favourite Champagne Clear Drops!
