New Lawn Fawn

I always look forward to Lawn Fawn releases and this one was no different! I need a 12-step program  for Lawn Fawn! lol

I have been ridiculously busy at work but hopefully the wind down towards summer is near! I have little time to play in my craft room.  Here is one that I made using some new and older Lawn Fawn products.

I started by die cutting my panels in both Bristol (for Distress Inks) and Neena for the frame (by MFT) I then used the new Ocean Hillside pop-up add-on with the Bristol card stock and used multiple Distress Inks in blues and purples for my water.  I then used the shark, fin and fish from the new Duh-Nuh stamps and dies and a few other fish from the older Fintastic stamps and dies. I coloured my images with Copic Sketch Markers. I then used the coral and leaves from the Mermaid for You stamp set and coloured them in as well.

Nicol Spohr made a card featuring the Duh-Nuh and the pull up dies. She used the Simon Says Stamp goggly eyes I opted for the Doddle Bug goggly eyes, I couldn't resit adding them to this guy.  I find it too funny.  I white embossed my sentiment on the back panel and used some Salty Ocean Distress Ink for the "sky".

I added my transparency and my foam tape, added a bunch of different sequins and stars. I topped off the card with the "Shake Me" from the new Push Here stamp set.

Thanks for taking the time!

Needed a summer-like project!

I don't know about you, but I am not a fan if winter.  I don't know why I still live in Montreal in the winter months.  It hasn't been too cold or successive snow storms but we have had a mixed bag of precipitation which is frustrating.  So, I needed to be on a beach! What better than a fun beach scene featuring Lawn Fawn!

I used Octopi my Heart, Mermaid for You (rock and sentiment) stamp sets and the tree is from Critters from the Past.  I Copic coloured the images then used the coordinating dies.  For my background I die cut a Neena Solar White panel with the largest of the smaller Dotted Squares. I then used the Stitched Hillside Borders and the Spring Showers cloud dies to cut masks.  I used a mix of Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks for the water and only Tumbled Glass for the sky/clouds. I then die cut another square and used one of the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders for my "beach" then used a mix of Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks. I added some dot detail with the Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Markers along with my White Gellyroller.

I stamped my sentiment with mix of Lawn Fawn Pink Flamingo Ink and Versafine Onyx Black. I then put the card together and added some sequins.

Thanks for taking the time!

Lawn Fawn meets Disney - Tinkerbell and Ariel

I had such fun with this card, I channeled my inner seven year-old!  Lawn Fawn could seriously develop a series of Disney type princesses!! I was looking at the Fairies and the Mermaids then thought why not have Tinkerbell meet Ariel (and Sebastian but the sequins kind of hide him)!

I die cut two Lawn Fawn stitched circles using Canson watercolor paper. For Tinkerbell"s circle I used  Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks and for Ariel's I used Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers and a touch of Salty Ocean, after blending the inks I used my Distress Sprayer for texture. I stamped all of my images using my Misti to stamp them all at once on Neena 80lbs to color with my Copics. I then decided to emboss the top panel with an older Cuttlebug embossing folder that has leaves I found it lent to the mystical fairytale feel :)  I then used my Misiti again as I forgot to emboss my sentiment first and used a mix of Wow and Ranger embossing powers that matched the colors in both circles.  This one was really fun to make!

Ok, I used multiple Lawn Fawn stamp sets here is the list:

Mermaid for You
Fairy Friends
Stinkin Cute (flower)
Fantastic Friends (fishy)
Gleeful Gardens (mushroom)
Life is Good (Sebastian)

Thanks for taking the time!

Lawn Fawn Summer 2016 release!

I love me some Lawn Fawn! I could not resist playing with these mermaids!!!

I started with a Canson Watercolor panel with a mix of Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean Distress Inks. I put the ink directly on my Ranger Craft Mat sprayed water generously and saturated my panel. I let it dry and repeated the process four times until I was happy with the final result.  I stamped my images from Mermaid for You and the flowers from Stinkin' Cute (for the mermaids hair) on Neena 80lbs so I could Copic colour.  I really wanted to practice colouring hair and these were perfect to find my own highlight spots!  For the coral, I stamped with a mix of Abandoned Coral and Fossilized Amber also on the Canson Watercolor paper. I wanted a shaker card for this one so I used a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins and placed a few more on the top of the acetate.

Thanks for taking the time!
